What does the Electoral Map have to do with Mid-term elections????
Cruz barely held onto Red Red Texas. They booted D Senators in very red States by SLIM margins, lost Nevada, might not get FL, and will lose AZ. The seats they picked up were D held in states Trump won in by huge margins--and only barely. Hardly a red wave.
In fact, the Senate races were heavily tilted in the R direction this go around. As I said, they eked out wins in super Trump states; not very encouraging. They barely defended what they had while Dems flipped a hell of lot and made big inroads into R territory.
When you factor in the House races, Obama won over Trump.
Lol. You keep telling yourself that about how Ds won. It's sheer fantasy. They won by sticking to the #1 issue voters cared about: healthcare. They ran on local issues, stayed with a positive message, and had a ton of new and exciting candidates.
Name one D candidate who ran on hate-mongering. Waiting . . .
Your fantasies aren't voter suppression.
It's not any easier for white people to vote in any of those districts, the notion is fucking absurd. Losing democracy =/= racism.
It's all very well documented.
And the Pubs by now must know as well as anybody that voter fraud is a non-problem, after all those Pub-led investigations and commissions failed to turn up anything -- so why do the Pubs, and only the Pubs, put these laws in place when they have the chance?!
Some laws and administrative practices have made it more difficult for people to register to vote

Note that it doesn't say "impossible". It says "made it more difficult.
That doesn't mean it doesn't matter.
I still see nobody offering an answer to this question: The Pubs by now must know as well as anybody that voter fraud is a non-problem, after all those Pub-led investigations and commissions failed to turn up anything -- so why do the Pubs, and only the Pubs, put these laws in place when they have the chance?!
That doesn't mean it doesn't matter. When you're dealing with numbers as vast as the votes cast in an election, discouragement can be enough to change the outcome.

The electoral map has a LOT to do with every election. The map depicts the tide of the voters and whether it's trending blue or red.
It's hard to defend a red seat in a state that's trending blue. When most of the red seats you're defending are in blue trending states, that tends to make the labors of even Sisyphus seem easy.
But you don't know that because maps iz hard. It's much easier to spew the rhetoric you're told rather than think for yourself or cross-check information.
The D's won because they threw bodies and money at the wall. Just like every other hoard of barbarians in history that overran the defensive line. Time will tell us if they stop before sacking the town or not. I'm betting not.
Discouragement is NOT "suppression".
I think part of the problem here is that mail-in ballots are sent to people that don't request them. I received one and it was not requested. Can only assume they look at people's ages and decide they need a mail-in ballot so they don't need to get their old bones out to vote.
The mail-in ballot had a short trip through my shredder.

Pretty interesting race was subject to a lot of interpretations. It seems like the Dems can poor huge amounts of money into no real effect. Look at how much Hillary spent she outspent Trump almost 2 to 1.
One of the things people have been noting is that cruises League shrunk when Trump began campaigning for him. The question is is it the reverse of the Trump effect or was that bombardment of advertising by the Democrats effective? It's really hard to disentangle various causations.
It's gotten to be where they aren't even subtle about trying to steal elections. I think they really do want to bring on the next civil war.

They know that statistically Democrats are more likely to both send the ballot in and vote in person. So it's an idea to get Democrats to honor their Heritage by voting early and often.
In Florida in Arizona they're just going to try to steal it rather than spend the money.
I think people are just waking up to the political divide in the US.
There are racialized Marxist on the left, and liberals-Bring back the 50's~!! on the right.
I think they really do want to bring on the next civil war.
There are actually very few American Marxists,
Your posting of the DNC platform proved otherwise.
