I’m glad someone wants soybeans. I usually throw the shit in the trash where it belongs.

Well, I suppose that's better than selling uranium to our enemies as somebody, whose name I won't mention, did.

Yeah, those Canadians should be taken to task for that.

Then again, that's nowhere near as bad as someone whose name I won't mention being a Russian asset and working with the Russian mob.

It seems the pretend conservative is still chugging leftist Kool-Aid.....

In other words, China is going to be buying all the soybeans they haven't been buying because of the trade war which has been devastating our farmers into bankruptcy.

And fan boying for the socialized sector of our agricultural markets/industry.

Funny thing is, someoneyouknow pretends he's not a flaming socialist and thinks actual conservatives buy it. :D

He's an idiot.

What did he (or anyone else for that matter) think what was going to happen to all those soybeans? Farmers were going to leave them to rot in a warehouse?

All the socialistic types thought it was the dawn of equitable prosperity!!!

Welfare ALWAYS spells that out!!!! Right? LOL :D

A lot of the agricultural troubles would be solved if the US would join the TPP-11. Unsurprisingly, Trump has looked into doing just that. Make America last!

Unsurprisingly, those countries already in the TPP aren't eager to add him to their group.

YOU'RE A FUCKING DUPE :D

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this article had a headline stating China had a commitment to buy $10 billion in soybeans, when it should have stated China's commitment was about 10 million metric tons of said beans. The Washington Examiner regrets the error.

Today's not so fun fact (especially for Soybean farmers)

In 2016, Obama's final year in office, China purchased $14 Billion dollars worth of soybeans
from the U.S.

In 2018, the second year of Trump's first term, which was also when Trump first levied tariffs on China, China purchased $3.1 Billion dollars worth of soybeans from the U.S.

Today, 2025, China has not purchased anv soybeans from the U.S.

From $14 Billion dollars to zero dollars in 9 years.

That's Trump's "Art of the Deal."

🤡

How many tons did the Chinese buy??

Zilch .. nada?

Loss of TWELVE BILLION dollars.
The Orange man is quite the deal maker!

Now? Rare .. sorry.. Raw Earths in Alaska will replace all the imports of Rare Earths he is losing. As soon as we build a road and actually find them and mine them.. then pay Canada for them

G e n i u s

well he can't get the rare earths from Greenland anymore, as he'd planned, since Canada has the options all nicely signed and sealed... there's not even an option left for trump to buy up any 'unwanted' leftover rare earths from there. The USA has been shut out entirely, quietly and without fanfare. This is really bad for the US and trump is entirely to blame. Carney actually understands commerce and making long-lasting, genuine deals with countries he's not alienating by verbally attacking them or even offering to take them over 'by force, if necessary.'

the real trouble is the damage trump's causing may not be reparable by following government administrations. It's hard for global businesses to trust the US again knowing the population was stupid enough to not only elect this dangerous fool once but RETURN him to the office of president a second time!

I chuckled today at the photo of Treasury secretary Scott Bessert flying (first class, natch) on an airplane, texting the Secretary of Agriculture to come up with a plan of action to inform Carrot Caligula™ that the USA got bamboozled by Argentina (who had the previous week sold their entire crop of soybeans to China).

Kakistocracy at its finest.
