Trump proposes new anti-vaxx measures for public schools

You obviously have no problem with his words. I have huge problems with them. But apparently you don't. So what did he mean and why is it not a problem?
That's a you problem. Even I have my limits on how many mansplaining gifts I grant you.

It's about parental rights. Period. I don't need to air my personal opinion on vaccines. And I don't care what yours are. But neither you nor teachers nor governments have any right to impose your position on those who do not agree with you, and force them to comply or not receive schooling in the very schools their tax dollars are funding. That is tyranny. I believe in individual liberty.

So I fully agree with Trump on this. The teachers, schools, and the government needs to stay the fuck out of the life of the individual and the family. Kids don't belong to the government or the school or society in general. They belong to the parents, and the parents, not society, should have final say as to what or what does not go into their child's body. No one cares more about their children than their parents. Stay out of their lives.

Understood. Hiding behind arrogance.
You're professing ignorance on issues. This actually significantly increases my respect for you (if meant genuinely), and I'm the first to profess potentially unlimited ignorance on part of myself on countless subjects.

The subject of this particular thread is anti-vax positions, but I just don't have the time to start down even more additional topics. Whether you agree with me or not, I'm sure I've made my position on this particular topic clear.

I've already aired you're views on COVID, and vaccines, you're secret is not safe anymore fisher. You deleted all your posts, but you can't delete the ones of yours that are quoted by others....*chuckles*

Who the hell is Fisher? I have not been on this site for 2 years. Yes, under another name then, but not fisher.

Dude you post on this forum all day long and get in long tangential discussions. Time is not what you lack here.

You have no problem with Trump wanting to determine what is "politically" appropriate - as well as racially and sexually - to teach our children. But don't want to have to try to defend it.

I'm curious. What is it about you libs, who back in the day used to be all about anti-establishment, that you now cry for MORE government imposition onto individual freedom and call anyone who opposes it wingnuts? Y'all are a hot mess! And why do you oppose parental rights and seem to think their kids belong to you to control and indoctrinate. They aren't your kids! Leave them alone!

That's some primo projection right there.

You're not any better at sealioning than TST. ;)

Not going to keep this discussion up. You may assume who I am based on your theories, but I guarantee you are wrong. Go to my other posts, particularly in the poetry section. I'm sure this fisher was not doing and could not do the writing I do over there.

At any rate, you are wrong. Don't attribute others words to me. And when you figure out you are wrong, I would appreciate a public apology and admission of that fact

That's not projection. That's literally an observation based on the statements in this very thread!

My personal time is quite flexible, not infinite.

I really shouldn't have been posting on here at all this morning, and instead be focusing on work.

But I find such discussions and debates enormously interesting to partipate in, and something of a guilty pleasure of mine. I should be working right this minute instead of typing, to be honest. One of the perks, but also pitfalls, of being self employed.

Rest assured I won't assert what time and effort you're obligated to put towards any subject, replies or posts, nor will I accuse you of being fearful of defending a position simply because you choose not to at any particular time.

lol, If I had been fisher, I would be hiding that fact too. But given your posting style, and 80% similar word usage and the fact you won't list your previous alt, leads me to think I'm correct.

But hey it's an un-moderated forum, you can post what you like, and I can as well.

over 81% of the population vaccinated against covid now, meaning the stupid who refuse vaccination can do little harm to the general population.

measles and other "childhood" diseases are often mild, but also often highly dangerous to their hosts, with results that include blindness, deafness, organ damage, and death. There's a very good civic reason for people to get their kids vaccinated against these diseases... it protects society. it protects their kids. it protects the kids of others. it protects the unborn and the pregnant, the old and the infirm.

for all those determined not to be vaccinated for any of the regular diseases we now have protection against, i suggest you withdraw your children from school and homeschool or have small 'village-idiot' type schools set up by your anti-vazzer churches/businesses and 'concerned parents' with the provision that you and your families must live in some designated area that has no regular contact with anyone outside its parameters, like a reservation for anti-vaxxers. Then, when your populations get sick and suffer, and perhaps your kids come to adulthood and sue you for deliberately risking their health, you'll have to suck it up in isolation.

the minority's desire to refuse vaccinations goes against the health of the majority of the USA, and that endangerment shouldn't be permitted.

on another note, if the unvaccinated parents of children (even embryos in pregnancy) fail to protect their progeny from diseases we currently have great protection against, and the child is impaired, or dies, how does that stack up against protecting 'the unborn' lives created 'at the moment of conception' and willful child neglect?

No it was not.

Shall we dissect the post?

I'm curious. What is it about you libs,
Your first projection. now if you had phrased it like, "why is it some people" now you have moved away from projection, but you didn't, you aimed it directly at....Hell we only got eight words in before you started projecting....

Everyone on this thread who support forcing parents to put things into their kids' bodies that they oppose, at penalty of denying schooling and resources that those parents tax dollars pay for, all of you who support this, but identify as conservative, raise your hand.

I thought not.

I wasn't projecting. I was pointing out an openly espoused philosophy on the left, very well expressed in Hillary Clinton's book, It Takes A Village.

We've been forcing people to put "stuff" in their bodies for a century. It's why Polio is a thing of the past,. Why we eradicated Small Pox, Measles...what right does a parent have to expose others to un-vaccinated children? You really have a problem understanding that your rights end, where mine begin.

Sucks you don't understand "projection". Seem's you'll keep doing it, and getting called out on it.

Then prove me wrong. Point out the conservatives on this thread who agree with you, who oppose my position. Who think that parental rights aren't nearly as important as School, teachers and governments and society's opinions. Who think that the children belong to society and it takes a village, And that the children do not belong to the parents. Show me the conservatives here that believe that. If you can't then apparently I'm not projecting I'm observing.

Point out the conservatives on this thread who agree with you,
I don't give a shit if conservatives, liberals or any other "term" you choose to use agree. Your rights end, where mine begin. When the two of us can't decide on who's right trump. Then Government makes the decision. That is part of the social contract.

Government decided, and you keep your un-vaccinated children away from mine. That is why schools require them to be vaccinated, unless there is a medical reason why they can't. For the record I am one who has never been vaccinated for small pox, because I have an allergy to Cow Pox.

So you support limited, socially approved tyranny. Got it. The mob trumps the individual. Individual liberty and innate rights come from government.

You are proving my point.

You don't seem to understand your rights don't trump mine. How come? Are you that stupid? *chuckles* yes fisher you are.....

So this fisher is a conservative who is also a poet? 🙄 knock it off knucklehead.
