Trump fucks up again. Ukraine negotiation goes sideways

Of course Trump hasn't put any pressure on Russia. He's bought and paid for by Putin. His team are yukking it up with Russian envoys in Washington talking trade deals while he does his best to screw Ukraine.

Trump is NOT a moron. He knows exactly what he is doing, and what he is doing is intended to help Russia and and Putin win without being outrageously obvious.

It's obvious of course, but Republicans in general choose not to believe that Trump is in Putin's pockets.

This is the new reality....Trump has aligned himself as an ally of Putin. Mussolini, to Putin's Hitler.

Wonder what depths he will sink to when Zelensky tells him to fuck himself.

This is now how Trump is seen in much of Europe. He's proving Europe right.

In case you haven’t been following, here is a short summary of the misnamed Russian-American "peace process" regarding Ukraine.
  • The US demands that Ukraine accept an immediate unconditional ceasefire. Ukraine agrees.
  • Russia rejects any talk of such a ceasefire, and instead asks for a halt on strikes on energy targets, an area where Ukraine is hurting Russia. The US agrees and Ukraine agrees.
  • Russia within one day violates the terms of its own proposal, attacking Ukrainian energy infrastructure along with other civilian targets. There is no US response.
  • Meanwhile Russia insists that the United States enforce on Ukraine Russia’s war aims, even though they are outrageous and even though Russia is not winning the war. The US agrees.
  • The United States also insists that Ukraine concede its mineral wealth in exchange for nothing at all.
This has not been a peace process. It has not even been appeasement. It has been the US throwing its power on Russia’s side in a war of aggression.

The US is staying out of it at this point. Z trashed the minerals agreement that would have involved US not in the conflict but between it.
Since Z is trying to join EU since joining NATO is obviously off the table, the EU is back pedaling. Largely placing Ukraine as and independent.
The US continuing to be open to discussion with both Russia and Ukraine is the best progress that can be seen on getting to the end of hostility.

What progress? hmmm show me some, even Russia's not agreeing to the US terms, and the terms are all in Russia's favour.

Victoria Kulheyko was born in Nosivka, Chernihiv Oblast, Ukraine, at the time a part of the Soviet Union.[4][5][6]
Her family were NKVD killers. Her great-grandfather, A. Heyko, was the head of the Nosovsky village council, Chernihiv region. Important detail is when… just right before WWII, meaning he was a soviet union representative who ensured the system of dekulakization, Stalin’s campaign to forcibly collectivize agriculture and consolidate state control over food production. Millions were affected - dispossessed, exiled, or killed - even though many of them were simply hard-working peasants. Remember the Holodomor. Her family took part in the Holodomor, the genocidal killing of millions of Ukrainians. Her great-grandfather died in 1943, serving as the commander of an NKVD (soviet union’s secret police and internal security agency) sabotage and terror unit in the occupied territory. V. Spartz’s parents were members of the communist party of the soviet union (CPSU). Spartz is part of the old Soviet mentality and has had nothing to do with the birth and rise of an independent Ukrainian nation. She is critical of Ukraine and has voted against anything and everything to do with Ukraine. She's a treasonous enemy of Ukraine. A descendant of a family involved in the genocide of Ukrainians is unlikely to develop love for those same Ukrainians.

She changed and went quiet when Trump took office. In the past, she was one of the first to condemn Russia. She most likely resigned because of intolerable pressure from within the Trump administration to stick to party-line pro-Russian statements and not say anything that might upset the Putin/Trump axis.

No news on the $50 billion of military equipment Ukraine wants to BUY from the USA

Nope. Witkoff wants Ukraine to surrender.....I think it's clear enough who's side Trump is on.

Oh yeah, Trump Administration is becoming irrelevant and he's going to be too busy dealing with the effects of his tariffs on China soon to worry about Ukraine

Putin demands Ukraine disarm before peace talks? Here's the reason why.

General Drapatyi, the new commander of Ukraine's eastern front, just turned Ukraine's frontline into a Russian artillery graveyard. The shocking numbers: 1,644 Russian artillery pieces destroyed in March alone. With Russia's factories limping along at 150 pieces monthly, Ukraine just wiped out an entire year of production in 30 days. The secret? Ukrainian drone hunters tracking Russian guns 15km behind frontlines, exploiting Moscow's outdated "relocate after firing" doctrine. By the time Russian crews realize they're targeted, their multi-million dollar systems are already smoking wreckage and they're smoking alongside the wreckage. This isn't just winning battles — it's breaking the entire Russian war machine. Now, Putin's forces need 36 separate assaults for each kilometer gained — a mathematical impossibility that's bleeding Russia dry.

Expect the Trump Administration's next move to be to try to pressure Ukraine to disarm.

Putin is just buying time and getting his troops killed and maimed. Putin is not dumb, he knows his daze is coming to an end.

I strongly suspect his own people are telling him what he wants to hear and Trump et al buying into Putin's bullshit doesn't help at all. I'm all for Putin buying time until his military collapses.

Back in the good ole days, people wanted the President to succeed intead of fail. East shit you fucktard
Fuck off you nobody.

I support the Constitution. I served in the US Army to defend the Constitution. I hope for bad things for any enemy of the Constitution.

Back in the good ol days we generally had Presidents with some sort of a moral compass who did not want genocidal dictators to suceed in their extermination campaigns.

‘More accurately, racist’
That’s the easy retort.

The more difficult yet essential question is what this reveals of the Democratic Party on one hand, and of the whole political system on the other.

Unless I am very much mistaken, we are in more trouble than is generally assumed.

There's no coming back from this and no living this down for Witkoff or Kellog...
