Well ... my first thought is ... why do we need to soundproof the room? Jealous neighbors has its appeal I'm sure with 3 bright people like ourselves we could come up with some way to keep warm

So,everyone is talking about the weather! It was getting fall like here,until
this week, when it started getting hot hot hot again! I guess the SS threesome

No .. sadly it has not and I believe it is my fault. It's on-call purgatory time for me and I have been lax.

Indeed I live close to the desert (relatively speaking ... ). But I live even closer to the mountains (on their doorstep actually ... in ten minutes I can be climbing into the ranges ... which work just as well!)

Nope, this thread will live forever....we just get a bit slow at times

I have been around for a few years and it used to drive me crazy when there wasn't anything to read with my morning coffee. I even resorted to posting collections of my 92 year old baptist Uncle's jokes with the hope of flushing out lurkers to save the rest of the group from the fire and brim stone Over time I have gotten used to the ebb of the tide and the changes here in TC. You kinda got to look at this area as a place for friends and family to hang out.

I agree, and I thank you for popping in and keeping this place on the radar during those long spells of silence. I have to believe that maybe someday it'll become more active again. Unfortunately, many of the prior citizens here have drifted away, or like me are trying to juggle too many things in real life and can only drop by occasionally.
