:nana: :nana: WAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOO :nana: :nana: Your own business, how exciting!!!!!! OK, now that you've tipped your hat, details please! Service or product business??

Hey Lusty! I am starting a gift basket business, but I am going to specialize in baskets that are intended for the entire family. I don't want to post too many of my ideas online just yet, but basically the ideas are to inspire families to spend time together. I am also going to offer baskets for individuals as well, but my main focus will be intended for the entire family. And they won't be the traditonal snacks, wine, cheese baskets - I want them to be more thoughtful and meaningful.

I have gotten great feedback from many different people I have shared my ideas with so I think I am going to run with it. Its been an idea I have had for a couple of years now and I am just going to make it happen. Its going to be a side business so, needless to say, my time will be stetched, but I am sooooo excited!

Ya know, I always thought a gift basket business would be alot of fun; even gave it serious thought when I was trying to survive the telcomm mess a few years back. I mean you can do gift baskets for anything and any occation. I kinda thought gift baskets for pets might fly along with kid's baskets, new baby baskets, etc. How cool would it be for you or I to receive a basket filled with art supplies? ;) There is sooooooooo much you can do with something like that, and with your people skills, you are going to be fantastic!!!! Keep me posted :rose:

Finally, finally, finally returning to the edge of no where from the 3rd cow patty on the left!!!!!!!!!!! It's been a year, way too long to be away from home.

NG! Your business ideas rock!!!! I spend a not so small fortune each Christmas season on giftbaskets. I found a place last year that I could choose amongst several options in each category and they had beautiful containers which were complimented on by the recipients. BUT, none of them seemed fitting for an entire family. I ended up sending them just for the adults and gift cards separerately for the kids.

So....I hope you know that I will be thrilled to be a loyal customer. Let me know when your are up, and if you need anything, or someone to bounce ideas off of.

ps, IL welcome home. :rose:

*4. I've always been terrified of getting lost!*

Common Sense Fixes

1. A mouse trap, placed on top of your alarm clock, will prevent you
from rolling over and going back to sleep after you hit the snooze
button.

2. If you have a bad cough, take a large dose of laxatives, then you
will be afraid to cough.

3. Clumsy? Avoid cutting yourself while slicing vegetables by getting
someone else to hold them while you chop away.

4. Avoid arguments with the Mrs. about lifting the toilet seat by simply
using the sink.

5. For high blood pressure sufferers: simply cut yourself and bleed for
a few minutes, thus reducing the pressure in your veins. Remember to use
a timer.

6. Have a bad toothache? Smash your thumb with a hammer and you will
forget about the toothache.

Sometimes, we just need to remember what the rules of life really are:

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and
should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

Remember:

* Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.

* Never pass up an opportunity to go to the bathroom.

* If you woke up breathing, congratulations! You get another chance.

*And finally, be really nice to your family and friends; you never know
when you might need them to empty your bedpan.

IL welcome home. :rose:

Thanks Sorta! I'm not there yet, doing the move this weekend; but I am getting excited about sleeping in my own bed and a couple of remodeling projects that have been on the todo list forever. And of course I'm hoping to complete the missing classes (I'm down to less than 6) so I can finally hold that degree in hand. I was beginning to think I would get the degree just in time to retire

Big TC welcome! You are located in Egypt????? Wow, we have people here that are in the UK and a couple that live "down under", but I do believe you are the first from Egypt to roam the TC halls.

The move will be a easy thing, just clothing, art supplies and computer equipment. Prolly the most difficult will be my tomato plants - got a friend with a pickup lending a hand with that.....just hope they survive the 2 hour trip south on the freeway. And thanks for your vote of confidence  Sometimes having another person believe you can do it is just the push you need to cross the finish line. :nana:

The romantic husband.....

Husband and wife in bed together.

She feels his hand rubbing her shoulder.

She: "Oh, that feels good."

His hand moves to her breast.

She: "Gee, honey, that feels wonderful."

His hand moves to her leg.

She: "Oh, honey, don't stop."

But he stops.

She: "Why did you stop?"

He: "I found the remote."
