I am always amazed at what 10 minutes of sunshine can do for a person's spirit. Still working on the balancing act.....if I could just convice the powers that be to add 6 more hours to the day, I am sure I could get everything handled

Going for walks around the local oval and further, the local shopping centre which is about a fifteen minute walk away.

I am very happy as my little brother is here visiting for the next 2 weeks. He left Texas a few months back and was hanging out in No California, literally as a travelling free spirit with no place to call home. He was travelling with a friend and they were loving life on the road, but it was making me crazy as I was always worried. But now he is here! YAY!! So I can rest a little easier (and so can my mother. She told me that last time was the first time in months she slept without a sleep aid )

Anyway, have a good week and a wonderful holiday.

Update

- I should be receiving the final judgment in my divorce this week. Quite appropriate, I think. Something to be thankful for.

- With Thanksgiving coming up, I am starting to feel homesick. I was sure that it wouldn't hit me, but it did.

- I am still enjoying my work, very much. It seems as if life is just passing me by at times, though.

- Things in my life have been changing day by day. I am learning to be once again. It is a roller coaster, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

- I wish you all the best. I miss you guys!

Sorry about the lag time in replying.....all hell broke lose on the web server I manage at work. As of yesterday I seem to be my boss's new best friend But I am putting work on the back burner for the next 2 day and concentrating on what is really important...friends, family and food

Thanks. Still can't beleive you guys don't do Turkey day......sometimes when life is at it's craziest, it's good to have a day where you just get off the rollar coaster and remind yourself what it's really all about. You set around the table and see all the people that are such a big part of your life, even the ones you swear that if they wasn't family, you wouldn't ever see them, and give thanks for all you've been blessed with.

Actually when I was growing up, Sunday dinners were a big thing. Any family within driving distance all showed up at Grandma's house and spent the afternoon tormenting one another Holidays were just an extended food feast.

lol yes Sunday roast's were good for me too.

Australia Day for me is pretty quiet just like Christmas is usually - good food and family .

lol most here in Australia have a bbq, family , friends, beer, etc, etc.
