Thankful for all our LIT friends (especially the TCers!)
Missing my 'Man, but relieved he arrived safely at his destination (over 400 miles away!)
after almost a whole day of driving (with our poor beat-up car!).
Wish I handled money better.
Wish I were well enough to work and travel alone; hopefully, this will happen in time.
Missing my best girlfriend and my Mom... both too far away at the moment.
'Tis the time to miss loved ones, I suppose. However, I am so very thankful that I have such special and lovely people in my life!

A cop was on his horse waiting to cross the street when a little girl on her new shiny bike stopped beside him. "Nice bike," the cop said. "Did Santa bring it to you?"
"Yep," the little girl said, "he sure did!"
The cop looked the bike over and handed the girl a $5 ticket for a safety violation. The cop said, "Next year tell Santa to put a reflector light on the back of it."
The young girl looked up at the cop and said, "Nice horse you've got there sir. Did Santa bring it to you?"
"Yes, he sure did," chuckled the cop.

I just have to brag about my kids....sorry. 
My second oldest is 14, and a freshman in high school. He played varsity soccer (as a freshman!!) and ended up getting tons of awards at the end of the season. He was player of the week 4 times, two times were sponsored by a local pizza shop, and he received certificates for those. The other two were sponsored by Kroger's grocery store, and he got 2 trophies for those. He received his varsity letter, the numbers to go on the sleeve of his varsity jacket (when he gets one) and a pin that looks like a flat soccer ball. He was also named defensive player of the year, and MVP of the entire team!!! He's also a straight-A student in all college prep classes. WTG J#2!!!
Then today....oh...my....goodness! My oldest son is 17, a junior at the same high school as my soccer star, and is on the varsity basketball team. Last night he had an awesome game, with 14 pts. (leading scorer), 5 steals and 5 rebounds. Then we get up this morning, look at the sports section in our city's newspaper, and on the back page is a COLOR picture of him going up for a layup with 3 defenders around him!!! Not a small picture, it's 5"x7"! Caption at the bottom: "J#1 (all my kids are named with J's) of F.H.H.S. goes up for a shot during a 50-39 win over B.H.S." Holy shit!!! So of course I'm framing this, scanning it and printing it out, making extra copies.
I'm sure it seems like all I talk about in the rare times that I post are my kids. Well, that's because they are my world, and I am so very proud of all of them.
I hope that all of you have something/someone in your lives that make you as happy as my kids make me.

I know I haven't been around this past week.....buried up to my eyeballs in finals and work......ain't nothing like working round the clock to make you feel like Cinderella But I hoped everyone here was enjoying the holiday season and such. Hi everyone! Happy Holidays! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
I haven't been around at all because Nigel and I are in the process of moving! YAY!!!!!!! We found a great two bedroom house not far from my work. Its a great house with a great yard and a front porch. YAY!!!!!!!!
So we are trying to get our stuff together so we can move in the next two weeks, which is proving to be tough as our schedules are different and I'm pretty busy at work so its not a good time for me to take a few days off to move. We'll make it work. I can't tell you how happy we are!!!
Have safe, happy holidays and I'll check in when I can!

There are two statues in a park; one of a nude man and one of a nude woman. They had been facing each other across a pathway for a hundred years, when one day an angel comes down from the sky and, with a single gesture, brings the two to life.
