SS... That's the same week I get vacation!! I'm sooooo ready for it!!

Yes ... I am ready for Christmas and vacation!

Now ... if only work would make up their mind. It's only been 48 hours since I last vented on this subject ... and in that time ... the trip to Boston has been called off ... and was definately a go!! ... and has been called off again!!

The only thing I am sure of is that I am not flying on Monday ... ummm ... yes, pretty sure of that ...

Hi Tanta.. I don't know the facts regarding your friend's condition (what type of cancer, how progressed etc.) But I have a friend who's been fighting anal/rectal cancer for over a year and I think he's all but licked it... no pun intended. Doctors told him surgery was a MUST. He declined.
He's been using all organic foods, juicing his own feggies and fruits and following a naturopathic lifestyle.. I've watched him go from 93bls to 135 in about 6 months... his color is rich, he runs up the stairs where he used to have difficulty and his tumour has noticebly shrunk.
He's also been using meditation and spiritual healing and I think everything has been a factor in his current condition.
I wish your friend all the very best. Hope this might be some help.

My friend has liver cancer... it followed a tumor above her breast from last year. She's started a new round of chemo, different one this time... she's also doing some alternative healing programs similar to your friend. She does the hot/cold showers and also the hydrotherapy tub. They have her drinking all kinds of juices and teas to help filter out as much as possible.

Last week she was put on quarantine since her white count was so low... they gave her a series of shots to bring up the count so she's off now but has to be careful around anyone that's sick... naturally.

Her spirits have risen again and hopefully, since she's feeling a bit better, she's ready to fight harder!! Love, support and friendship is given freely here... we're with her in this fight!!

Before I forget... I have two best friends with cancer... the other is undergoing a mastectomy on the 27th. It's becoming a trend that I don't want to join, if ya know what I mean!! I've been dividing my time between them and my daughter/homelife... work is just a sideline for now! *roll eyes*

All my best to your friend...will keep him in my prayers, too!!

thanks for asking SS, i am being selfish....yes i admit it, i am learning that no one really cares about me but me and i am tired of being last. i found out that the only way to 'fix' my thumb (the one that got smashed at work) is to fuse the joint (yes i am not happy) i have a purchasing manager telling anyone who is willing to listen that i do not know how to do my job. yes it pisses me off that i have 20+ years of experience in design and construction and this AHOLE has none, but he knows better then i do about construction materials and standards. i share an office with 2 other women, go ahead guys you do it for a week............i HATE women...........talk about mood swings and backstabbing!!!! and then i could start about home, but best figure i hadn't here.......anyway.....i am still lbeing selfish and i am liking it just a little to much!

Glad to hear your friend is feeling possitive.. that's Extemely important.. not sure about hydrotheropy, but have her look into enzym replenishment and tell her that it's HIGHLY recommended that she avoid all types of sugar!!!.. That includes honey.. although she may need a good deal of protiens because of the chemo, and get her body weight up, she must also keep her sugar levels down because cancer feeds on that. This would apply to your other friends as well.

I told him about your methodical way of putting together lights... The tree is beautiful and filled us with such joy. Amazing how a Christmas tree can make everything around you feel so magical....
