Jenny...not too much longer now. Your "eyelid blew up"? The image in my mind was not a good one and caused me some recoiling!!! Do you mean that its was just oozing continuosly?

It wasn't a good image to look at either, but I wasn't sure how to describe it! It appears something got under my upper eyelid, and caused my eye to be swollen shut. It is almost down to regular size now, but it's still "drippy" (tearing mostly), but I think the worst is over. At least I can keep both eyes open now!

Congrats on your ongoing accomplishment too, NG! It took me 5 attempts before I finally quit! It's not an easy thing, but I guarantee you, you'll notice yourself feeling a lot better!

Had some storms in the area tonight to keep me busy!

Oman says hi; he's very tired after all these consecutive days/nights of work. Hopefully he'll be back home before the weekend, but he's not sure yet.

Thanks for the well wishes, everyone. The interview was this morning and I pretty much kicked ass. I am (fingers crossed) almost positive that I will get an offer.

It must be meant to be... the first resume I sent out and the first interview I have had. It is a social work position that is exactly what I want to do and it pays much more than I expected!

It is amazing how by making one right decision, everything else begins to fall into place.
