Sorta - I am so happy that things are going so well for you and Danny. Best wishes on your wedding... I hope to be invited if I am still in Florida by that time (hint, hint ;) )!

Thanks for the compliment on the AV... it is from a series that I took for someone very special to me.

Thank you so much. And of course you'll be invited (and guest ;) ), whether you're still in FL or not!! We are actually going to compile a more detailed guest list as soon as we get back from CA. So, I'll be here requesting addresses from my TC family. I'm still not totally organized in the new house, so if I did it now I'm afraid I'd lose them.

That someone special had to have been very amazed!!

hmmm...well this redhead is hanging in there. This whole moving off to a whole new place is a bit rougher than I expected.... (now I'll find out it wasn't me that SS was talking about at all)

sorta...thanks for thinking of me hun...and yes...I do know:devil:

I probably should take the time to confess...but sometimes confessions aren't so easy....

Someone was up late last night, huh?:) I think we just missed you.

Confessions can be hard, but getting things out is such a good way to process just exactly what a person's feeling. Here, or journaling, or IM, or phone....just don't hold it in!:rose:

Sorta: I'm bummed you won't be coming this way now. But I'm glad that things are going to be a little more manageable. It seems the future is so bright for you and Danny, and that makes me happy. You deserve all of the happiness you are experiencing.

I'm so bumming on that! I was really really excited to come see you. Danny doesn't know it yet, but I was hoping we could somehow catch Nigel's play. It's been really awesome reading about it here. I don't know him, but was looking forward to meeting this man who's made you so happy. It sounds like our lives are still paralleling in some ways.

The future indeed rocks!:nana:

WOW!!!
On at the same time,
We havent set a date or started planning yet
or at least that i know of yet!!lol
We still want to be in better financial condition.
Thanks for the offer of the info
Ill let jenny know.
Cant wait until i hear for both of us

I miss you as well ... I miss our conversations. I value your advice more than anything.

Ditto! We are going to somehow have to find a time zone that works...and right away.

Well I have missed a lot of things while I've been gone ... but I'm hoping this means what I think it means! Congrats to both of you, very, very much ...

You have, and it does!!! Thank you, so very very much. You didn't know it, but I was also hoping to somehow meet up with you and family during our x-country trip that isn't happening. I had this whole plan of routing our trip strategic-like. Ah well, maybe after the wedding. Holy Cow, no one told me these things were so expensive!!!

Oh, and when I switched to the upgraded Y! I lost my entire friends list. *Hinting for a PM from you*

New School Bus Driver

There was this guy who just got a new job as a school bus driver for elementary school children. He thought it would be nice to paint the school bus with characters from Sesame Street. So, he painted Bert and Ernie, Big Bird, The Cookie Monster and so forth.

At his first stop, there was this very overweight little girl. He opened the door and said, "Hi, I'm the new bus driver. What's your name?" The girl said that her name was Pattie.

Waiting at the next stop was another overweight little girl. He said, "Hi, I'm the new bus driver. What's your name?" She said that her name was Pattie also.

At the next stop, there was a grown woman and a little boy. The bus driver said, "Hi, I'm the new bus driver. What's your name?"

The woman piped up and said, "His name is Ross and he is my son." She continued, "He is very, very special, so I want you to take extra good care of him."

The bus driver replied, "No problem. He can have this seat right behind me and I can watch him in the mirror."

At the next stop, there was this little country boy standing there. The little boy was wearing tattered overalls and had no shoes or socks on his feet. The poor little boy had problems walking because of bunions all over his feet.

The bus driver said, "Hi, I'm the new bus driver. What's your name?"

The little boy replied, "My name is Lester Cleese."

Well, little Lester picked at his bunions all the way to the school house, nearly driving the driver crazy.

At home later that night, his wife asked him how his first day on the new job was. The man replied, "Well, I had Two Obese Patties, Special Ross, Lester Cleese Picking Bunions On A Sesame Street Bus."

This is definietly a rare occasion!!!

Well, I think Danny didn't know just exactly how much mental planning had started from the moment he proposed until I started spending every moment of everyday researching, plotting, planning, envisioning, ok...obsessing.
But I so know what you mean about trying to be in better financial beforehand. We pushed the date back once to make sure we could actually do this. Now, we've decided we are committed to that date. The only question is, how much we can do within the time frame? At this point, even if 100's of guest all just stand outside the door of the justice of the peace, it's gonna happen!!!

We have some amazing wedding day hopes and are going to work our tails off to makes as many of them happen as we can. But my true dream, was to find my soulmate and vow before all the people I love to spend the rest of eternity with him. I'm half way there, I found him!! Everything else is just pretty ambiance and decadence. I told Danny last night, if need be, we'll make 500 tuna fish sandwiches, cut them in triagles and self print a little menu that says "gourmet petit-fours" and buy chocolate Jello pudding labelled "Mousse":D borrow a volley ball net and have a beach party!!! Just as long as I find a white dress, and pick some wildflowers and look into his eyes while saying "I DO" I'm realizing my every dream.

I love the triple wedding idea!!! Think of how much we'd save on invitations!

Hi

Just wanted to let y'all know I'm still alive. I went to the beach a couple of weeks ago and didn't have internet access. Unfortunately I think I missed a lot of stuff here and I feel a little out of it. :(

Hope everyone here has a wonderful weekend.

Hugs to you and the little one.

Confession:
I've got baby fever! :D

Just thought I should pop in after reading this (since I was sitting right next to her while she was typing it!! WOW, been a while since I made a confession!) and just say that I love planning the wedding, even when we stay up till 3am looking at every wedding dress ever made by anyone anywhere. ;)

I may tease her about being bridal, but I really do love doing this together. When the day is finally here, I'll be able to look around and see something that we created together, and that really means alot to me. Whether it be the awesome all-out extravaganza we're working towards, a modified version of that, or tiny tuna sandwiches ;) I'll still be marrying the woman I've been searching for my whole life, and that really is all that's important to me.

Oman....just some advice. After we got engaged, months went by and I started to wonder why she wasn't making any real wedding plans (little did I know that sexy red-headed mind was working overtime!). When her boxes from CA arrived just before she did in November, there were many many MANY bridal magazines inside!! Since then, it has pretty much become a full-time job for her. So, back to my advice, this is the calm before the storm....enjoy it....it won't last. ;)

Fiesty....Sis, seems you've been making friends, and avatars!! (OMG!!!) That bikini top would look really good lying on a lounge chair poolside with us here in S. Florida. ;) (Of course, the top would be on the chair, next to the little black dress, you would be in the pool with us!) But back to making friends, remember what I told you, little miss talks to everyone? ;)

Jewelz.....sounds like someone had an electric night!! I know it's been hard having him gone all week, but it makes it that much sweeter when he comes home! ;) Hopefully all this hard work he's putting in now, will pay off next year and you can take a vacation to FL around June 18th. (hint hint) Only problem is, do you sit on the groom's side or the bride's??

NG.....I was really looking forward to coming out and seeing LA. Being a NYC boy, I was really curious to see what it was like and meet both you and Nigel, but like SC said, hopefully after the wedding, we'll have at least bus money left to make the trip. :)

Confession:

I recieved the most incredible letter in my email box two mornings ago. It touched my heart more ways than I can express. This person has seen within me since the moment we began to be in each other's lives. In this letter I saw so much.

Dynamics sometimes change, yet strong foundations are permanent. A change to a structure doesn't always seem necessary, but a diligent and well thought out remold can surprisingly produce some pretty amazing results. Time tables can take awhile, but the new facets are by far worth it.

Another insight from this letter was in perception. So many walk through life barely scratching the surface. Then tend to migrate toward others that prefer this view. They like the outside appearances, the smiles (real or not), the plastic greetings, the generalize interaction. It works for them. Other's could never walk this walk. These people need substanance, need the real depths below the surface. They search it out and crave it. Even when what they find is less than perfect, sometimes awful...they embrace it because it's tangible and real. It feeds the spirit. They seek others of their kind.

I haven't been able to sit down with a response to that email yet, but wanted to share here some of the ways it touched me. My mind has been reflecting since I first read it. I want to give the sender back everything she gave to me.

I've found it pretty amazing that I found nearly all the people most important to me right here as well.

The sandwiches are perfect!!! (Look yummy, too. I'm getting hungry!) You rock!

Now, Danny's trying to drag me kicking and screaming (got a put up a show, yanno) to the pool. Guess I should put on my suit before he tosses me in clothes and all!!

Have a wonderful, wonderful day. Send Jenny our thoughts and love.:rose:

Im gonna sit right in the middle! *snicker* You know its been on my calendar since we knew the date! We will do everything we can to get there, you know that!

And yes, the one good thing about him being away is how amazing it is when he does come home. I ache for him when he is gone. of course, you know this due to our many talks!! lol I know I thank you every time, but thank you soooo much for always being there to listen. You are truly one of the most caring men in the world!!
