WTG Nigel!!!!

Great to hear that Nigel! How long is the run in Guys and Dolls? (open-ended, perhaps?). Nevermind, just glad to hear!

Now thats a good law!!! I hate margarine! It grosses me out.
Well I agree on that count ... death to margerine! ... though after having tried "soy butter" (eldest daughter has gone veggie on me) ... there is something worse (and don't get me started on "soy cheese").

I think I am allergic to avacados. I had mexican food with guacumole both Friday and Saturday nights and both nights I felt really sick after, but last night was really bad. [edit]gross description deleted[/edit]
... sorry to hear of your troubles ... but I'm wondering if the guac was just bad (not hard to do if unrefridgerated for a period of time). your reaction doesn't really sound like an allergic reaction per se. ... mind you, I find the look and feel of guacaumole revolting and won't touch the stuff any more ... so I highly applaud avoiding it! ;) ... it just didn't sound quite like an allergic reaction ...

hope you are feeling much better now ...

Well ... I've caught up on a week's+ of posts. Hope everyone is doing well (especially a certain fiery redhead well known for enticing AVs). Time for me now to log in to the corporate net (and ergo a) do work and b) not be able to post on Lit.

Keep well my friends ...

Bill Gates Buys Some Lovin'

Bill Gates meets Hugh Grant at a Hollywood party. They are talking and Bill says: "I've seen some great pictures of Divine Brown lately, I sure would like to get together with her!"

Hugh replies: "Well Bill, you know ever since our incident, her price has skyrocketed, she's charging a small fortune."

Bill: "Hugh, money's no object to me. What's her number." So, Hugh gives Bill her number and Bill sets up a date.

They meet & after they finish, Bill is lying there in ecstasy, mumbling "God...now I know why you chose the name Divine."

To which she replies: "Thank you, Bill.....and now I know how you chose the name ..... Microsoft."

confession...of sorts

I want her....right now...right here

I want to take her in ways she never thought possible and to heights she never imagined.

G'morning TC,

I hope everyone is having a great day. I couldn't sleep last night, I think the benedryl I took for my own allergic reaction (relating to NG) had a reverse effect. It was very strange, for so long now I've not had even a touch of insomnia, I fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow most nights, errrr after, well you know:D . I didn't even think to come here as I was sitting with nothing to do. I'm bummed, it looks like I could have caught up with SS finally if I had. *pout* I miss you, my friend.

Although, I do try to stop in every few days or so and catch up on every one's posts.

So, the good news is I found a company that will ship my dog, door to door, for $200!!!! This will keep our trip to California a more reasonable length since we won't need to drive across country and back. The bad news is I won't be passing through LA now, and won't be able to meet NG. :( The closest we will be is the Bay Area. I was also so looking forward to that and the week each way, out on the open road, just me and Danny exploring. The adventuress in me is disappointed, but this saves so much time and money we just have to do it this way.

Danny and I went to dinner Sunday night, to celebrate the one year anniversary of The Proposal!!! We went to the resort we are hoping to book for our reception. It was amazing!!! The fillet mignon was so tender you could cut it with a fork, and the lobster, as well as the appetizers were heavenly. The service was incredible. And they make the best Margarita's on the rocks I've had seen moving here! Without a doubt we've found the place, I just pray that when we are ready to put down a deposit they have our date open!!!!

Jewelz, sending you a big hug, I remember that longing feeling.

Fiesty, thinking of you right now and well, you know.

Sunnygirl, that AV rocks!

Oman & Jenny, you two just make me sappy everytime I come here and read your words about each other!!

Yikes, this post is getting long, so Every One Else: :rose: :rose: :rose:

Sorta - I am so happy that things are going so well for you and Danny. Best wishes on your wedding... I hope to be invited if I am still in Florida by that time (hint, hint ;) )!

Thanks for the compliment on the AV... it is from a series that I took for someone very special to me.

Huggggggggggs sorta from one of the saps!:D

Dreamy,if you cant make it to her wedding

hmmm...well this redhead is hanging in there. This whole moving off to a whole new place is a bit rougher than I expected.... (now I'll find out it wasn't me that SS was talking about at all)

sorta...thanks for thinking of me hun...and yes...I do know:devil:

I probably should take the time to confess...but sometimes confessions aren't so easy....

Wow!!!! Kiki and SS sightings!!!!!!!!!! Even Fiesty, NG, Sorta and Jewels stopped in; I'd say this has been a pretty good week in these here parts :D And school will be starting soon (next month for me), so maybe even Brain and a few others will stop in again.

Good morning gang!

I hate being up at the butt-crack of dawn! Its too early! I wanna go back to bed! *whine*

SSG and Xelebes -- Glad to hear that you weathered the horrible storms there. Xelebes, that sucks that your synthesizer was ruined.

CF -- that is quite the AV! Damn! :D

SS -- So nice to see you post! :rose: I hope you post more often. Re: the avacados. The only reason Im thinking its an allergy to avacados of some sort is that I had the same reaction 2 other times after having a turkey and avacado sandwich within the past several months. Avacado seems to be the running thing. The guac that we had at dinner was homemade, made right before our eyes in the restaurant. Its just strange that everytime I've eaten it, I have gotten sick. It does seem strange though to call it an "allergy".

Sorta: I'm bummed you won't be coming this way now. But I'm glad that things are going to be a little more manageable. It seems the future is so bright for you and Danny, and that makes me happy. You deserve all of the happiness you are experiencing.

KIKI!!!!! How in the hell are you?!! Nice to see you, even briefly!

Oman: *smooch* Say hello to Jenny!

Hellos to the rest of the gang....Dreamy, Jeff, Lusty, Fiesty!, and everyone else.....I wonder how Red is doing...and Liza hasn't posted in awhile....

Well I gotta get ready for work....

Little bit o' confessing, little bit o' blurting...

Thanks for bringing me something back, after all of the psych consutations I gave you, you owed me. :p

It's pretty damn hard to eat a salad quietly. *crunch*

I would miss you immensely if you were gone.

Every time I see that AV my mouth waters. Damn.

Yum.... that frosty was delish.

If you ever think about doing that again you will be bitchslapped, no questions asked.

Get your ass in gear and go. I didn't pay all that money to let it go to waste.

Confession to everyone

Thank You for Being a Friend by Andrew Gold - Golden Girls Lyrics

Thank you for being a friend
Traveled down the road and back again
Your heart is true your a pal and a confidant.

And if you through a party
Invited everyone you ever knew
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say thank you for being a friend.

I miss you as well ... I miss our conversations. I value your advice more than anything.
Without a doubt we've found the place, I just pray that when we are ready to put down a deposit they have our date open!!!!
Well I have missed a lot of things while I've been gone ... but I'm hoping this means what I think it means! Congrats to both of you, very, very much ...
