....But I'd also like to add that most of us who have been here for any length of time have posted enough about ourselves in regular threads (my thread on how old you are, Lovely Latina's thread on the Lit family album, the various "what do you do in real life" threads, and the various other "question" threads, etc.) that someone doing a little research on you can then easily post as if they are your best friend in the world who is spilling lots of secrets about you. In reality, all they've done is post info which is already available to the board for all to see, but they've made it sound like they have or had an ongoing personal relationship with you. Someone did that here recently. He sent lots of emails to people, so those were obvious to the recipients that this guy had no clue who they really were or any real info about them. But he also posted to the bb about various other people. Those posts sounded more convincing, although if anyone paid attention, he was using information already posted on the bb previously and just adding a few guesses of his own.

Bottom line is that you should be careful what you reveal on the board, and even more careful in what you believe about others that you read here.

Does that theory of yours apply also to someone who has a miscarriage? The miscarriage is public information on the board, therefore it is ok for trolls to use that information against the people who just lost their baby to make them feel bad? Nasty posts are okay in your book, as long as they are based on "facts" disclosed on the board? Does the buck stop with the almost-parents, too?

You missed the point of my post. You assumed that what the troll posted about me and what I said was gospel, just because he said so. I didn't fight him point by point, or discusss on the board the context in which my email comments were made. You only know half the story because I chose not to disclose the other half to the board. My point was that you should be be careful in what you believe about others just because you read it here.

I agree with that. But let me try again. The troll put it on the board, I didn't say it in the first place for public information on the board. It wasn't there to be used against me until after the troll decided to make a career of hassling me on my thread. My point about the other side of the story is that quotes from emails taken out of context can be made to sound any way someone wants them to sound. I didn't fight back (Isn't that what everyone says we should do? Ignore it?) line by line so the assumption is the troll tells the truth. Be careful making that assumption about anything you read here. Because something is written doesn't make it true.

I doubt, very seriously, for those of you waiting for it, that the “miracle cure” is going to come.

As with many troll issues, this one has gotten WAY blown out of proportion, and, I think, the original point will degenerate into smaller, fractured arguments. It is usually the way of things.

I don’t think I’ll be posting on this thread again, but I wanted to add a few things to the simmering pot, because there is this “frenzy” feeling. And, it’s like a soccer game where you just KNOW people are gonna get trampled.

I am a far cry from the voice of reason. But there are a few things I know.

1. On-line, like IRL, rarely is anything 100%. OJ was found “innocent.” How many of you really think he was? Other men have been convicted and sentenced to DEATH on meager evidence, only to be found innocent with later evidence discovered. My “proof” is not your “proof” is not Deb’s “proof” is not Outsider or Bri’s “proof.” As Outsider puts it:

It’s the smartest thing I’ve seen him post in days.

For me, I will say again - if it smells like a dog, walks like a dog, looks like a dog, and barks like a dog, then USUALLY IT’S A FUCKING DOG.

2. Deb is one woman with one opinion. Those of you who hate her often take her up to task not so much for her issues, I think, but more for having the opportunity to take your shot against “the bitch.” That’s fine. But, it’s pretty weak. I mean, one basis of your argument is that “There are trolls…so what?” By that same token, “there is DEB…so what?” If a troll can spew hateful refuse and it doesn’t bother you, then Deb should be able to post her theories and opinions as well. Argue with her all you want, but the more condescending you try to be, the more foolish it looks from my side. It’s like you’re defending the KKK because you don’t like the DA. You have technical ground to stand on, but don’t think you’ve got real high to climb on the moral hill.

3. The rest of you, panting and pawing at the screen, pressing your legs together in anticipation…stop. And think about exactly WHY you’re doing so.

4. Many of you seem to pander to the illusion that Deb goes off half-cocked slinging accusations left and right. No. She is a watcher. She studies numbers and patterns. She does research. Someone DOES SOMETHING to spark suspicion. Then she thinks on it. Regardless of how you do or do not accept her “proof” she doesn’t make completely baseless accusation. There is always something there that just reeks.

5. She doesn’t OWE you any answers. She’s no obligated to be your “bad guy.” She’s just sick of watching some people get away like smug little shit-kickers and watching most everyone else roll around in the refuse without a clue. I understand the feeling.

NOW – as with everything posted on the BB – this post is just MY fucking opinion. I’m not speaking for Deb. I COULD be 100% wrong. I know what I think - Period. As with MY posts, Deb’s posts, troll posts and every other post here, you are welcome to accept it or reject it in part or in whole.

There isn’t going to be some “great revelation” – at least I’m not counting on it. I know what’s been “proven” to MY satisfaction, and that’s based largely on my OWN observation, not Deb’s.

Draw your own fucking conclusions. It’s all here.

Deb DOES have the answers. HER answers. The only type of answers any of us can ever have. And, quite frankly it makes a lot more sense than “maybe it’s all just a coincidence.” Yeah. And maybe an elephant could be suspended off a cliff with its tail tied to a daisy. I’m not banking on it.

I am beginning to just not give a shit. Like WH says, send them all to Coventry. Quite frankly, I think some of the drama queens & kings get off on the attention of trolls and play it up to get sympathy. Most everyone else just doesn’t get it or doesn’t care to.

Honestly? Yes. Trolls on this board are a well known fact of life. You think you can depend on them to be respectful? You are on out of your mind if you do. If you don't want to make your pregnancy, weight, lovelife, or ANY OTHER aspect of your personal pain a target for trolls, then hey, here's an obvious idea: DON'T POST IT IN THE FIRST PLACE.

If you want to post here, then you should accept nasty trolls as one of the realities of Lit. Stop sticking your head down a Candy Land loo and live in the real world. Deal with Lit the way it IS, not the way it should be.

If you feel the need to share your personal angst with other board members, use email and talk to people you trust. Do you really think that every one of the 170,000 people who come here give a shit about your feelings or see you as an individual with a real life, worthy of respect? You're having a laugh.

Chapter One: "Whining"

Once upon a time there was a Psycho named Raven. Now listen up everybody, cause if you can't understand it the first time, I'm going gently tap you on the head with a two-by-four until your ears bleed.

Raven discovered Literotica a long time ago, but discovered whining a whole lot earlier. Whining was her thing so when everybody got tired of her whining, she registered a new name at Literotica so that somebody would acknowledge her whining and react to it. I will call Raven Patryn from this point on so that everybody gets it, cause I hope I don't have to pull out the two-by-four if I don't really have to. It's kind of big and there's quite a few belongings that are stacked on top of it.

Meanwhile, Raven AND Patryn posted side-by-side a few times, especially when nobody else could give a shit, and picking fights with Deborah was more fun this way. Well Deborah might ignore this once, maybe twice, but sooner or later she'd have no choice but to slap back, to retaliate, and of course she would with grande style. Of course the people of Lit, being unaccustomed to such thorough tongue lashings would side with the victim, if the victim whined enough.

Patryn continued to whine, and whine like no other. When Lit posters grew tired of the whining, she would pretend that Deborah was out to get her, and when you say something enough times, it might happen, or people will believe it happened. Even when it doesn't happen.

Deb quit responding to Patryn, so Patryn moved on to Dixon, naturally. (applause) Nothing's better than a tougue lashing from this guy, have you read his stories? (yes!) If you annoy him enough, you might even find out who he is. (laughter)





And the trolls had their say, and eventually Patryn was ignored again. But not for long........
