Even if the above were made up, it wasn't made up by BrightShinyGirl. There are numerous reports out there that say they were attacked in the bathroom. And you have no reason to doubt those reports are true, beyond the fact that you don't want them to be true.

I think she went into the girls room and real girls didnt care for that....poked fun of her (maybe) and she became uppity, and slipped and the other girls did the right thing and rushed to help her

Probably the only other people who know exactly what happened are the girls who beat them up. Of course they're not going to confess publicly at this point.

Really, I see what you're getting at, but the bottom line is, there is nothing in the family's account that does not pass the smell test here. Bullies attack in places where an adult is unlikely to catch them, like a bathroom. Trans and nonbinary kids are especially vulnerable to being attacked in a bathroom where someone else thinks they don't belong. Zero tolerance policies for bullying mean the victim often ends up being punished because s/he fought back. A blow to the head can kill you even if you initially feel just a little the worse for wear (remember Liam Neeson's wife?). And kids like this one are especially vulnerable to being attacked these days.

Now consider who is disputing the account. It's the deplorables! You don't need me to tell you why they're doing it.
