So I'm looking at getting a new toy, and am not too sure what to get. They're too expensive to get one I won't enjoy!

I'm thinking I want a butt plug. I'm kind of experienced with anal, and have really loved it a few times. Other times it seems like it just hurts too much to get on with it (he's just so big!). Would prepping with a butt plug make it go more smoothly?
And there's so many types - sizes, materials. I made a trip to the sex shop to look around. I initially thought I wanted one with a little give, softer... but after reading a few threads on here it seems like a metal or glass one is preferred (easier to clean, compatible with any lubes, durable).

Has anyone ever used Metal Worx? I like the look and feel of them, kind of pricey though. And quite a few different styles...
Etsy has a good selection of glass plugs, but maybe this is the type of item to not buy from that site. Any experience?
And size... I was thinking medium? I would love to hear some of your experiences. A set would be nice, but probably too pricey (know of any affordable ones?)

Glass is really nice. Its smooth, no give and you can either get it really cold by putting it in the fridge or get it warm in some hot/warm water. The change in temperature can be very erotic both anal and vaginally. If you are looking for a nice anal toy you can also try a really slim vibe or some anal beads, both of those are fun too.

my wife uses anal bead, she likes as play too. We are in a similar situation, we want to use toys to help her ass get used to being played with... we also have a dp bead string and she loves that
