I have ideas for stories, I feel randy, I want to write, but I can't form a single sentence.
Seriously. The pictures will not translate to words. What is wrong with me?
This is horrible.

Welcome to my planet. And for me, the stuff I can't write is my job.

So I know the feeling. here's a sympathetic

Liar, been there done that - and there's nothing worse than an editor breathing down your neck with a hole in page 3 that you're supposed to fill

V, I have a similar problem, except I keep rewriting the same thing over and over again, differently, but getting stuck at the same point every time.
And it's preventing me writing anything else either. Driving me nuts.

Well, a torture story springs to mind.

Words are not always appropriate. And not all fantasies are best suited for words anyway. Sometimes a melody, or a picture is better

I haven't written anything substantial since October, so I know the feeling too. *hugs*

I had three novels in the Eden series written when I submitted the first one to CLHP -- and the fourth one more or less in concept. So I got the fourth one written as the first three went through the editing process -- bottom line -- four novels out between January and the end of April. So now Terrie is bugging me for novel number five -- she's expecting a new one every month or two! It just doesn't happen that fast.

Especially when I "waste" time on Lit!

I think you have a bit of writer's block. Don't try to force it, but do sit down and try to write anything for at least fifteen minutes. Even if it's just meaningless gobblitygook...and don't worry, it's not a permanent thing.

Nope. I think we're "maintaining important social and professional contacts." Mindless gobbledygook is over there.

Gobbledegook Dep't

The Blitherer is IN.

I have a whole department for it.

Maybe a little extra input from the Inspiration end of things? Ahem... some fun?

Might give you an edge when you do your fifteen minutes of blather, next time...

:p

Try a FlashFic on for size, v.

100 words might get your mojo workin'. ;)
