My neighbor makes quilts, T-shirts, does embroidery and patches.... sells them online for a tidy little income.

You can basically sign up for student loans and get any number of certs at local CC's all over the country while living on an entry level hourly wage. My boy from the army got his welding certs in like 6 months and started making 30~/hr, that's not bad!.

There are lots of options out there....question is how bad do you want it?
