Ok, I know this is ridiculous, but this is driving me crazy. Unless I am mistaken, the word "dominate" is a transitive verb. The word "dominant" is an adjective. You cannot be a dominate. You can be a dominant. You cannot dominant someone. You can dominate someone.

Sorry to be nitpicky, but I have seen this malapropism throughout the board and we're beginning to sound like a bunch of Bush's in our own field.

Taking a "Detached Cultural Commentator" or a "Manifestos" tone is always fun for me:

And men have been done the greatest disservice, made to feel, by the usual headless, well-meaning, blind forces of "progress", that their bodymind desire to "hump hot holes and release seed is fundamentally selfish and regressive.

I used to do this this very misuse constantly on my website. We consciously and purposefully make fun of these illiterate dweebs whose ideas about how to dominate a woman are as backwards and as stupidly hokum as their syntax. The purposeful misspelling is a rhetoical device intended to communicate scorn....deep scorn.

An alternate words I sometimes use for the same purpose is one a submissive friend of mine made up, dumminants, but it doesn't have the quite the ring of dominate-as-noun, because while plenty of online "dominants" are illiterate enough to call themselves "dominates," most are not creative enough to call themselves dumminants.

Let's see...on the humilation of women, well I love these paperback covers that an online-books seller (they sell books that are read online, that is) has to promote its wares. The book descriptions, when there are any, aren't half-bad either. I can't post the book covers, as charming as they are, because that would be stealing, but let me give people the main URL and instructions on how to get to the good stuff:

Now here's how you get to the hot humiliating sections:

Ok, I will be controversial and say, No. Here are my reasons:

1. The kind of rough sex they do (no implements, hands-on, disrespectful, non-ritualistic, without prior extensive negotiations) is not sanctioned by most into bdsm.

2. The are NOT safe, sane and consensual and they do not give the girl a safeword. They offer the girl money and then she's their whore to do with as they please.

3. Their most common form of sex, extreme humiliation and degradation of women during normal vanilla sex acts, is frowned upon by many in the bdsm community: called "advance mindgames play" at the mildest and denounced as vile and perpetrating a woman's sense of no self-worth at the worst. Maybe things are loosening up now, but I have heard many a bdsm spokesperson-pundit in the past declare that even if the woman loves humiliation and gets off on it mightily, it is "bad" for her.
