I'm about to sign my own death sentence for saying this, but Corvettes are too banal (even though the first gen facelift was gorgeous) and the mako shark thing's sexy.

Jeremy Clarkson loves the 'vette, but it began to disintegrate after 3 days.
I spent most of my time in America this time in a new Corvette ZR1. It is a fabulous car. Mesmerisingly fast, good looking and amazing value. But after three days the damn thing was beginning to disintegrate. It made me growl with annoyance and despair.

I really think the length is an optical illusion. If you look at the specs, it really hasn't changed in length or anything. I thought the same way when I first saw one, then I saw one in person and drove it, DAMN the thing is fast!! Nothing like the ZR-1 I drove, but a totally different beast.
