very well thought out and done so far, IMO. I especially liked the Ring of Honor at ground zero. I also enjoyed seeing that England officially observed our Moment of Silence.

I think most countries are observing the moment of silence.

The Ring of Honor is exemplary.

Yes, you are right. ABC just showed ceremonies from Australia and New Zealand and other places.

I did not know that Mozart's Reqium is being played and song by a choir in each time zone around the world throughout the entire day.

Hi, T

I just haven't turned the tv on today.

I'm reading, posting and listening to music.

side note

I would just like to say I am originally from south africa now living in the states. I realise this has been a great tragedy in american history and that this is and was a very terrible act. However sitting here I cant help but think how hard it must be for the israelies to live with this fear day in and day out. My heart goes out to the americans but I feel that the israelies should be getting alot more support the arab stronghold over the world and how oppressed they are yet they never want peace. sorry about the rant but It burns me up.

I just got back from covering a 9-11 remembrance ceremony at an air base here. It brought tears to my eyes and pride in my heart. I don't think I've ever been in an airplane hangar filled with more than 2,000 people and been able to hear the crickets chirping during the moment of silence. It was amazing.

As the general said during his speech, "We're in it for the long haul."

This day affects each of us differently, but, regardless of who you are, it does affect you in some way.

Here in Denmark we have honored the day as well. I found the attached picture on a news site. It's taken outside the American Embassy in Copenhagen
