What do you eat, or snack on? I have a bad habit of eating too late. Sometimes too close to bedtime, or at bedtime. I'm trying to think of Healthier choices to make since I know that I probably won't break this habit soon. I'm curious to find out if others have this bad habit, and what they eat. Any and all suggestions/comments would be appreciated. Thank You.

hmmmmm i'll never tell ......

:p :p :p :p :p

eeek, i'm a horrible example. typically, around 3am, i get up, down a liter of coke, a sandwich, and a bag of cookies, then go bag to bed

I eat what ever junk food is around the house, chips, chocolate and pop mostly

Get some Rice Cakes and snack on those...Your habit would break eventually. :)

I shouldn't even post here, Im not a late night eater. I'm usually staring at the back of my eye lids by midnight.

My daughter is in the habit of wanting something before bed. I try so hard to stop that, but she cries so much saying she is hungry. I keep thinking that it is her growing, she burned off much of what she ate all day by running around (she'll be 8 in 2 weeks). I don't want her in the habit of late snacking though...it is wrong of me as a mother to help her with eating problems that will effect her in the future. How would I stop it? Right now, I let her either have a pickle (her favorite), a glass of chocolate milk, a small bowl of ice cream(one scoop), or froot roll up.

Does it effect your sleeping if you eat at 3am Bob? I hear it causes nightmares or restlessness. I get that without eating, so maybe I'm the one doing something wrong.

wow...lol...I just got confused again. See that, it don't take much.

BTW ^^, your not upset with me are you? **pinching your cheek** I didn't mean to call you a 'thing'...I wasn't to sure what the pic was..LOL
I did discover you are MALE though!!! hehehee

NNOOOOOOOOOOOO

not mad........this is a fun place.......take a pic eyes looking down.......lol.......to hard to do it in photoshop without cheating and just turning it over.....lol........;)

Your daughter could very well be going through a growth spurt I have that problem I've resolved it somewhat by doing a nighttime snack for mine I try to make it one to two hours before bedtime and then they have quiet time til bedtime and I try to make it a semi-nutritional snack if I can get away with it.

As for myself I have a bad habit of eating late at night cause I sometimes don't eat when I should during the day.

i have been having ice cream (or similar to it)... usually its frozen yogurt or sherbet or the light stuff so its low in sugar fat and calories... Edy's makes some really good stuff that tastes almost exactly like the real stuff

i used to eat anything I could get my hands on. Usually something sweet. But now I try to get a drink of water. It always stops me from being hungry and is a way I can made sure I didn't get the freshman fifteen.

Usualy a bowl of cerial with milk. Sometime a 'Slim-fast'(tm) milk shake.

Got into habit when I had an ulcer and was eating six SMALL meals a day.

I drink a glass of water and wait at least 20-30 minutes...if I'm still truly hungry, then I find something to eat. I find that sometimes I "think" I'm hungry late at night because...I'm bored, I'm lonely, I'm thirsty(not really hungry), or in some cases because I want sex and I'm trying to feed the urge instead of act on it (I'm single and not into one-night stands).

Late night eating?

Well, usually, its a glass of milk, and a sandwich, of my own creation.

Or, if I have cash, Doritos, taco flavored, and soda.

A healthy diet, I know.
