WTF time is it?

This is wierd (spooky music begins in the background) and not some kinda halloween shit. I am stuck in a time warp from the outer deminsions black hole region, or maybe not, I dunno.

I heard time would be changing soon. So this morning my doggie and my sis-in-law's doggie woke up and wanted to go outside. I told them to shut the fuck up cause it's still nighttime but they wouldn't. It was darker than shit and I had to let them outside.

Then I looked at my computer and sure enough, it said it was 6 am instead of 7 am like my clocks said, so I set all my clocks back 1 hour.

Later, I innocently went to turn on Judge Judy and WTF they are showing the news, I don't want news, I want Judge Judy screamin at idiots. The tv said it's an hour later.

Crap, I set all my clocks back up an hour.

Then I went to fix it and told my computer to update time with an internet greenwich mean time or some shit, and it says the same thing.

Does anybody know what time it is in american central time?

The clocks don't go back till midnight Saturday (or 2am Sunday). But... I'm wondering about you saying "Later, I innocently went to turn on Judge Judy..." I wonder if you really do anything innocently... :D

Crap, my computer is all broken. How can it update with internet time wrong? This has never happened before.

I thought maybe my dog Scooter had changed the time while I was asleepin but if it updates to the same time then ................................... well, I dunno WTF that means.

If you click on the time at the bottom right a window will come up. In that window you will see "Internet Time". If you click on that you will see a box where you can check "Automatically synchronize with an Internet time server". Clicking on that might help, but you might also have to reboot afterwards.

I'm sorry, but I can't help with your anal probe problem. In fact, I may only make it worse. :D

While epiphany65 is helping with the time issue... ahem, allow me to check on that anal probing...

No, that is what I'm saying. My time says Central Daylight Time this month, this day, this year, but when I tell it to synchronize with greenwich it don't change.

Hmmm... do you have the box checked to automatically adjust for daylight savings time? If it doesn't automatically adjust itself tomorrow night the only other solution I can suggest is that your computer has been traveling at or approaching the speed of light and has lost tome as compared to you. It's undocumented with computers, but not entirely unheard of when it comes to clocks.

When Congress changed the dates for spring forward and fall back, they forgot to tell all of the computer software the dates had changed. Computers think everything is back to standard time and TV channels know that the time has not yet come to fall back an hour.

I'm not sure when the time changes, but All of the radio stations and TV stations remind me about fouur-hundred times the day before it comes around.

The bottom right of the screen when you're watching the waether channel should have correct time.

Thats what somebody was telling me, kinda odd though that I start this thread, and nobody but you notices that thier time is messed up, I guess everyone looked at thier watch instead of the time at the bottom of thier screen. I need to call that person and take back what I said about them being an idiot.

Thanks Harold.

My computer's time isn't messed up because I don't let it adjust automatically. I noticed about six days ago that Lit's servers had adjusted because I my posts were time stamped an hour earlier than I typed them.

I could change my time zone to Mountain time for another week or so, but I don't really see any point to it. (you'd need to change to Eastern time to correct your sytem if you're synching to a Zulu time standard.

The problem may be fixed (or at least understood) but I wanted to say Lisa is freaking hot.

That is all.

I set my PC clock back ahead ASAP when I noticed it.

I just had my car fixed today, and it is supposed to switch tomorrow, so when I set the clock I set it to tomorrow for ease.

I will wait until tonight to set my clock back so that I go to my kung fu lesson at the right time in the morning.

Problem solved, sooo

to follow up on Sal's post, Lisa, I'd like to say that I'd be happy to give you the time any ol' time. ;)
