It's a way better film than all the Twilight movies combined.Vampires suck.
Did they match the curtains, though? But Rice could dedicate three pages to the description of drapes like no other!!!
Drapes and curtains? Isn't it the carpet that's supposed to match? Or are we talking armpit hair now?Did they match the curtains, though?

I thought pit hair was the valance...Drapes and curtains? Isn't it the carpet that's supposed to match? Or are we talking armpit hair now?
Personally, having been brought up in the seventies and eighties, I feel most comfortable with a nice Paisley.
Tom Clancy dedicated up to (and sometimes more than) 10,000 words to minor characters. Despite the fact, they appeared in one or two parts of the story, they occupied massive amounts of text with their backstories, which had nothing to do with the book's main plot.
Tom Clancy was my first favorite author - have read all of his books dozens of times. Even got a chance to chat with him a few times back when I was in college.
This explains completely why I can't seem to get a chapter out that's less than 20k words lately.
Yeah, I like the stories he wrote, but The Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games, and Clear and Present Danger were better on the screen than on the page. I got so bogged down in the historicity of characters I wanted to scream. Might have helped if I'd read the books and then watched the movies.
I have thousands of pictures online dude. Not every reverse search you make will give you exact results. There will always be anomalies! However, keep lurking if it makes you happy, I don’t mindHuh. It doesn't work for me anymore either. Maybe it's something Literotica does. Anyway, do you know how to use a picture as a Google search criterion? Your avatar returns a dozen or so pictures. Are they all you? (One, especially, doesn't look like you to me.)

I think she might be taller, too@AG31 is a dudett, same as me. Well, not the same as me; I don't think she is as anti-man as I am, or as dark as me, or has as fat an ass.
I didn’t mean to misgender you at all! Dude is an expression I use with everyone. It may be a British ‘ism’.I'm not a dude. I'm just curious.

You know what they say about nice things coming in small packagesWho isn't?
I gotta ask (cuz I'm curious), how do you know I'm not as dark as you? I'm not, I'm pretty sure, more pale red head (before it turned white). But what clues did I give?@AG31 is a dudett, same as me. Speaking as a dirty old man myself, there are worse things to be.
I made the mistake of reading Red Storm Rising recently. The "Romance" plot made me want to tear out my hair - when I wasn't dry-heaving.Yeah, I like the stories he wrote, but The Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games, and Clear and Present Danger were better on the screen than on the page. Is "anywhere" a British localism for "anyway?" Like "any road", which, I think is found in Yorkshire?Anywhere welcome to Lit
I love that you actually went out of your way to prove who you are! I joined Lit years ago and used to go under a male-sounding pseudonym here because I was wary of exposing myself as a woman on this site.
