Well I was thinking of a fun little game we can start here at Chyoo
and then an idea it hit me
after I hit it back and put it in a head lock
I decide it was a good idea
then I patted the ideas head and kissed his cheek
but thats neither here nor there
but here's the idea.

The person that starts the game (ME) picks three phrases
These Phrases should be funny or difficult to put into a story
then the contestants (all of you) have to do 3 things

1. Write a thread. The thread has to be over 300 words. It has to make sense and it has to contain all three of the phrases.

2. Have the thread approved ((this could be the hardest part of the race)). The thread has to be for a story that is NOT yours.
((those of you with more then one name DON"T CHEAT. i'll know if you cheat))

3. Be the first to post a link to the approved thread here.

The winner gets to pick the next round of phrases, which doesn't sound like that big of a prize but just think of the fun you can have with it.

This game does two things creates threads for others and hopefully adds to the creative juices of both the writers and the readers.

well now for my three phrases:

1. "How the heck do you pop a blowup doll"

2. "Thats when I saw it, a fifty foot statue of ___fill in the blank___"

3. "I can't fit that in there"

If he or she or they fit better in the story then go ahead and change it but that is the only piece of the phrase that can be change.

Okay I hope that this takes off and I hope that it goes on and on for a long.

Luv,
Christy

P.S. if you like the idea let me know

P.S.S. if you think the idea sucks let me know

Round Two.

Ahh good to see no one beat me to the punch. I managed to get all three phrases into Ooohkitty's story A day at the Stone Wall Mall. Proof can be found by clicking here:-- Round One Thread

Ok. On to round two. The three phrases are

1) "No, you can not have my burrito."

2) "My, we are a big boy."

3) And you must use "rice" and "watermellon" in the same sentence.

Ok then get typing. Another point I think we should be added is that whoever sets the phrases cannot enter that round.

Dacia

ratz!

gee, what time did you submit your story to ooohkitty, dacia? I'm still waiting for an approval eight hours later. (pouting, kicking dog)

Timing

I must have posted the story at midnight lastnight and it was approved when I got up in the morning. Its about 9pm my time now.

Dacia.

*ding, ding* ring the bell for round two!

Hello,
well I win! I had my thread approved today. I wrote it for Dacia's story which I thought was fitting. Here are the 3 demands to be met.

Use these phrases:

1) "No, you can not have my burrito."
2) "My, we are a big boy."
3) use the words "rice" and "watermelon" in one sentence.

I did just that and you can find my thread here...

Tim's Thread.

Now for round # 3!

Here are the 3 phrases you must use, and have the thread approved.

1) "Is that a banana in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?"
2) "It's a banana."
3) "Come to mamma, Big boy!"

Good luck!

Bad choice?

Hello,
well nobody has posted anything about this game since I won round two and gave the new 3 phrases. Have I choosen badly? Or is there just not a big demand to play this game? I think it's fun trying to come up with something before somebody else does.

One rule I'd like to see added would be this:

After a person wins the round and post the 3 new statements, I'd like to see other people write their new threads containing the 3 statements for a story that belongs to the winner of the last round.

This has how it has been so far. Ooohkitty started the game and Dacia added her thread to Ooohkitty's story. Then I used the new statements and wrote a thread for Dacia's story. And I'd like to see the next thread for one of my stories.

Just my thoughts.

I guess it's my turn now, I just had my thread approved for niceguy2002tim's story A lost identity-sex fugitive, follow the "female" path, then "keep moving" go forward a couple of threads and it's in a thread entitled "on the road".

The next three words/phrases are:

1. Oh my god, is that thing real?

2. As if by magic the shopkeeper appeared.

3. Bicycle repairman.

Thank you

Andy
