Thru Time... {All Welcome Please PM First}

Raymond looked sharply at the newcomer, wondering who he was.

Weird skin... Was all he thought. He continued to hold the sisters closely, now worried for their safety, although this man seemed to be just as lost as they were.

"Join the... we're just as lost as you are, but... just give us a minute, will ya?"

Avaline, Io, Karl, Germany 1942

Avaline’s eyes flew open, she bent at the waist, screamed in pain and felt the world she was in shift, as her powers were restored. Her body was healed, the cells, muscles and organs returned to their healthy state, and she looked over to Iolantha.

She glared at Karl, lifted her hand and froze him. With hurried movements, she swung her feet from the edge of the bed and pressed Iolantha’s hands together. “Wake up my friend,” she whispered in her ear, breathing her own strength back into Io’s body.

Her eyes went to the doctor and the nurse, they had heard her scream and she froze them with an icy stare. The guards were there within seconds, their guns drawn, one fired a bullet at her, and she froze it as well as the two guards.

“Io, you must wake up… we need to remove ourselves from here!” Avaline looked around the room, and saw the bed she had been lying on. “What happened to me?” Her body was clothed in a hideous gown, and soon Avaline pulled it from her self, leaving her lush figure exposed for the frozen victims to enjoy. Then with another wave of her hand, she was robed in the finest silk and lace that she owned.

Looking at the doctor she erased his memory of her, she moved on to the nurse, then the guards, then she looked to the man Karl. She remembered his gift of food, and bath, then she noticed his hand frozen in time holding onto Iolantha.

“Io, awaken and tell me what you want me to do this human,” she looked back to Iolantha and waited for her powers to work into the weakened woman’s mind and soul.

Hearing an unfamiliar voice...Raven whipped her head around and through her tears she looked upon a stranger, that seemed to just appear out of nowhere.
She held tighter to her sister and Raymond and her defences went up, she would fight this person if he dare to harm her sister....

"Who are you and where did you come from? ", Raven spoke angrily to the stranger slowly standing to face this man and to shield her sister who was still weakened from sending her healing energy to Io and Aveline.

Staring hard at the man , she could not help but take in the his presence that was a little overwhelming to say the least. He was big...and a sight.
She felt something , coming from him, but was not able to put her finger on what it was...It unsettled her a little, and caused a shiver to run through her.

"Answer me or be gone!! ", she raised her voice to the stranger.

Raymond held Wyn close to him, wrapping both of his arms around her, knowing that even though this stranger was indeed strange, Raven could probably rip him to pieces if she wanted to. Though as much as he wanted to be the man and be the one in front, he felt that Wyn might need him to hold her just so she could stand.

Raven... be careful. He might be like you and your sister... I don't want any of you getting hurt. Not... I don't want that to happen to me again.

"Raven, I'm sure they're okay..." Raymond said softly, worried about what she was going to do.

The man was bigger then he was, and Raymond didn't exactly have anything to fight him with if need be.

Wyn was glad that she had already been on her knees, it didnt give her far to fall when she fell on her ass. Her long black hair falling in around her sholders and getting in her eyes. Io didnt take nearly enough energy from her as she should have or Wyn would have been out cold. Knowing Io she gave all of her self and protected Wyn using as little of Wyns strenght as possable.

Brushing her hair back with her hand she looked up hearing a strangers voice asking if they could help him. Raymond sounded confused asking him to give them a moment. Her golden eyes watched the stranger as he moved forward taking in his apperance. He like Raymond was an extreamly sexy male, but there was something different about him.... it wasnt his skin tho it was strange.. it was something else. In the way he moved almost animal like.. dangerious like a panther or something with even more power.. Then Raven stepped infront of her to protect her in her weekend state. Being as angry and defiant as Wyn had been earler demanding to know who the stranger was.

Smiling Wyn shook her head to clear her thoughts and got back up on her knee's, and slowly with Raymonds help as he came forward to hold her got to her feet. Yes i am alright i am a little drained but should be just fine in a few moments. Io didnt take as much as she should have, and dont worrie if need be i can call the animals for protection. she said to Raymond.

Looking back at the stranger as they waited for him to tell them his name and how he got there she said. We are lost as well stranger, and i am afraid that there isnt much we can do to help you. Perhaps if you can tell us which direction you came from then maybe we can back track your trail and find a way for all of us to find water and a place to rest awhile.

Greeting

(Great.....i show up and three humans are ready to kill me. I could take two of them, maybe, but not three.)
<Whats the matter my Draconic friend? afraid to let me deal with the weaklings? It would be so easy if you'd just let...>
(Seth! Shut the hell up now! I've enough to deal with right now aside from your constant ramblings of death and slaughter. Your not getting out, and if you do it will be only to see the edge of my blade Demon. Now still your tounge and remain silent unless spoken to.)
"Forgive me for startling you. I am Draken Lastar." He bowed honorably. He glanced at the circle of Druidic Runes on the palm of his right hand just incase any demons may be nearby, but nothing came from them. "I came from...." He thought a second. "Behind." The only obvious answer, the way they werent looking. "But i dont think backtracking will do us any good." (Gods what i wouldnt give to use my wings...) "Any ideas?"

Good answer Wyn thought, and liked him almost instantly, she had a couple of ideas, but they needed to know more about him before she or her sister used any magic around him. If he was an average human lost then he may possibly freak out a the use of their powers around him, but for some reason Wyn didn't think he was an average human...

Then she wondered if maybe the gods were throwing them for another loop and had perhaps dropped this poor soul in their vicinity as they had Raymond, and he was as lost in time as they were.

My name is Wyn. Draken and I have no ideas for the moment. Did you come across a river or pool of water in the direction you came from? Wyn asked keeping her voice calm because she knew Raven was on edge and the wrong movement or comment could send her off, just as it had with her earlier

Opening her mind to Raven Wyn found thoughts of Raymond, as well as protective thoughts of Wyn and fear of what she felt from the stranger. Wyn her self wasn't frightened by what she felt but was rather curious. Raven... I know I don't usually enter human minds... but ... we need to know more about him. We need to know if he is truly lost or if he is another pawn for the gods as we are.

Wyn new she had shocked Raven somewhat, and the only explanation she could think of for her to be able to speak in her mind was that they were sisters and their power was stronger together on top of the fact that she hadn't tried it before until she accidentally caught Raymond's thoughts.

Slowly letting go so that she was standing on her own. Wyn gave Raymond’s arm a reassuring squeeze before letting go, while she waited for Draken's reply not taking her eyes from Draken as she quietly said. Thank you for your help Raymond. I wouldn't have been able to stand on my own earlier.

"It's alright. Is everything alright?" Raymond replied, being careful to be just as quiet as Wyn was. He didn't trust this man, and to be honest he was a bit upset that he was no longer alone with the two gorgeous women.

I... really wanted to spend the night with them alone. It'd be impossible, but, I wouldn't have minded to see where things might have led. Uhg, they're sisters damnit, Raymond, get your head out of the gutter. Even if they were interested in you, you'd have to pick one or the other... what kind of an asshole asks two sisters to sleep with him at the same time? Raymond thought, disgusted with himself.

Still, they felt so good pressed close to me, especially Raven's kiss, and when Wyn touched my arm... that felt just as good, almost. I wish she'd have kissed me as well. I ALSO wish Zeus gave me a weapon or some power like the others. If this guy is violent, we might be in trouble. I could probably hold him off, but damn he's big. Raymond thought, acknowledging that the man was better built then he was, and could easily outshine him for either woman's affections if it ever came to that, physically.

~~Raven... I know I don't usually enter human minds... but ... we need to know more about him. We need to know if he is truly lost or if he is another pawn for the gods as we are.~~

Raven heard Wyn inside her head and was a lil shocked and almost broke her gaze on the strange man. But she continued to stare at the stranger. Draken huh?..odd name...even odder appearance. Reaching back to Wyn from her mind she agreed, ~~Wyn how did you do that?...Nevermind...I agree ...I will be careful and we watch him closely.~~As she was leaving Wyn's mind, she heard Raymond, and quietly slipped inside his mind hearing his thoughts....he wants BOTH of us??..blushing slightly she tried to hide a grin as his uncertainty and disgust from his own thoughts rambled in his mind. She wanted to look at him but she dared not take her eyes off this man...

There was something about him...her senses tingled with a different feeling that she had not felt before and was unsure what it was or what it was all about.

Raven left Raymonds mind and tried to enter the stranger's. It was like Fort Knox...there was no way in and she felt for it and could not find any hint as to what his thoughts or feelings were. She worried that if she tried harder to catch a glimpse inside him that he may feel her trying. She backed off and remained steadfast in her stance and gaze.

He was an impressive site. His skin like a fine exotic leather...His eyes...were sharp and clear, yet distant. He was most attractive in an almost eerie way. He towered over them all and he did not seem helpless at all. Nevermind lost. But she would wait him out, and keep watch on him.

Bearings....

"I did pass a stream, about five minutes back or so. But again i am lost and this is new terrain for me. I dont have my berrings."
Draken then thought aloud for anyone able to read minds to hear. (Try to enter my head again, and i doubt you'll like what you find. I've another mind inside me dying to get out, so dont push it to. We woudnlt want him to be loosed.) Draken's pendant gave a slight glint, the dragon fang on it hanging just in the middle of his chest. He didnt like the feel of his new apparal, and wished he had his old gear back on. But this would have to do. "Please i mean no harm to any of you. If i can be of assistance to you, you need only ask."
<Look at them Lastar. They fear you, you realize. They can sense something off about you. You should have learned how to supress your power. They can feel it vibing off you. Just kill them and continue on with this mission.>
(No Demon! I'll do no such thing. Besides, they look like they could use my help, just....i wish i could be done with this disguis.)

Wyn nodded that she understood she had felt another presents in his mind and would not push again to enter without being asked. I believe you mean us no harm, and as it is we are at a stand still.

The only way for us to get out of here is to work together, and as it appears you have some power of your own, be warned that if you should use it against us then I will fight back.
Having said her peace she waited for him to reply, and she also knew that they could stand there forever and talk circles around each other on weather he could be trusted or not.

The only way to truly tell was to take the first step and trust him. Though Wyn wasn't sure she, Raymond, and Raven could handle him on their own he stood over 6ft tall she was sure, and was extreamly well built. she had a feeling that if he chose to fight them then they would need all 5 sisters to battle him.

You said there is a stream not far from here? I believe we should head for it then. I will see if the animal that lead me back here earlier will guide us in the right direction. If you are as lost as you say then you may have been going in circles. How did you come to be lost in the first place? Wyn asked as she moved tword’s the edge of the trees and switched to the language of the Coatimundi calling her friend Ramo to see if he would help them.

Wyn knew that Raven and Raymond would protect each other and watch her back if it was needed. Raven.. As to your question.. I have no idea.. It started when Raymond showed up i accidently caught his thoughts of you and put up a barrer so that i wouldnt catch any more of his or your ummmm feelings. said in her sisters mind.

Wyn new that they needed to get to Io but she until they figured out wither he was truly a lost man in the jungle who needed help getting home, or someone dropped in by the gods then they couldn't take the chance of time travel.

While she waited for Ramo, and his family unit to arrive, and listened for Draken’s answer to her question Wyn tried to get the images of tanned leathery skin, hazel eyes, and short black hair out of her head, but for some reason was unable to do so, something about Darken drew her.

She wanted to learn more about him, but not just out of curiosity. Though the being he warned them of inside of him worried her somewhat there was another side of him as well that he wasn't showing... blushing as her thoughts started to stray from worried. To wondering what he would look like if he were nude and in some rather provocative positions.

Wyn shook her head, and looked up to meet curious hazel eyes across the clearing listining to his deep voice as he spoke. His gaze caused her to wonder if he had been reading her thoughts with out her knowing or if maybe he was curious as to how she were speaking with the animals in their own language...

Continued....

Draken, unable to figure any other way of hiding himself gave up on the holographic disguise untill they were near mortals or others unlike themselves.
With a flick of his wrist the armlet was off and he was unfolding his Draconic wings, his tail fliping around his leg. "Much better. Now....to be quite honest, i have no idea where im at. I was minding my own business in my home of Llonda, then i wake up and find myself here. I was raised around Druids, and Elves so their magics are not unknown to me, but often odd." He thought for a second of something else to throw ontop of this. "My Elder Druid may be responsible for my placment here. He never trascends me without a reason though. I shall follow in your company if you three will have me."

((Now all Draken needs to see is some action.....either kind is good ^.~ but i refer to the fighting kind. Need to show his powers. >.>))

The attack on Llonda

"Master Quetson!" A voice yelled out from the other side of the Llonda City barrier. "News comes from Miranda Shadowalk, of the Thoxinian Archers. Kain-Sante's army draws nearer to the boarder of Llonda. They just passed through the realm of Aranathoxia, Miranda was unsuccessfull in stopping his advance!"
"Guards! Let him in." Quetson Orland spoke, and the gates opened. "Tell me of Miranda, is she well?"
"She is injured, but alive. She sent me here upon her failure. We need the Draconic."
"......Forgive me....but i am afraid he's gone missing from the realm of Llonda. We dont know where Draken Lastar has gone. We shall have to deal with this threat ourselves."
"As you wish master Quetson."

Karl/Io/Avaline // Germany 1942

Karl was startled when Avaline suddenly screamed in apparent pain before looking at Iolantha. Before Karl could enquire about how Avaline felt she glared at him and lifted her hand, he felt his whole body freeze, he couldn’t move a muscle although he could still hear and see what was happening.

RedHairedandFriendly said:
“Wake up my friend,” she whispered in her ear

He saw her look past him and raise her hand again, then he heard a shot fired and once more she raised her hand and he heard the sound of metal hitting the floor behind him.

RedHairedandFriendly said:
“Io, you must wake up… we need to remove ourselves from here!” Avaline looked around the room, and saw the bed she had been lying on. “What happened to me?”

After freezing everybody and Io still unconscious nobody could answer her question. She pulled off the operating gown exposing her naked body to the room, if Karl hadn’t been so concerned about Io he would probably have enjoyed the sight. But this was the Goddess that Io was so sure about and she appeared to be having trouble getting Io to awaken. Again she did something to the people behind him but he had no idea what, she looked at him again and her manner seemed to soften a little as she looked at his hand clasping the unconscious Io’s.

RedHairedandFriendly said:
“Io, awaken and tell me what you want me to do this human,” she looked back to Iolantha

Karl was really getting worried about Io now, once Avaline woke he’d assumed that she’d be able to help Io, but she appeared to be having problems. He hoped that Io’s sisters could help if they arrived in time.

Io/Avaline/Karl/Germany/1942

It was if my mind was a cotton field and I was fighting my way through it. I heard someone calling my name, if I hadn’t known better I would have sworn it was Avaline. The voice sounded so much like hers, maybe I was just dreaming I wanted Avaline to feel better so badly. But the Doctor had said she was dying, if only Richard had shown up, if Wyn had made it she would have been able to help Avaline more then I could. But I was no Wyn, nor was I a Raven or any of my other sisters I was just me Io plain ole me.

Goddess I was so tired why didn’t who ever calling me just leave me be, I wanted to sleep more. My body needed more sleep I knew that, Karl was there he would watch over us. I had faith in him, he had taken care of us cared for us. He had held me when I needed someone, and even asleep I knew he was there. It didn’t make since but I knew he was by my side waiting for me to awaken.

“Io, you must wake up… we need to remove ourselves from here!” It was that voice again, I knew that voice, who’s voice was that? Didn’t they understand I was tired and just wanted to sleep for a long time.

Slipping up between the cotton clouds in my mind, I drifted further awake feeling someone pulling me along. There was something I needed to do, but for the life of me I couldn’t think what it was. Still that voice sounded so familiar to me, it was sweet and beautiful that of a Goddess.

A Goddess? Avaline.... No she couldn’t be calling me, or could she? The clouds in my mind parted and then I did hear her. It was Avaline and she was asking me a question, strength poured into me and suddenly things became clear as if someone had pulled a curtain away from my brain letting me see clearly.

“Io, awaken and tell me what you want me to do this human,” Human? She meant Karl, opening my eyes my first thoughts of Karl I feel his hand within mine and I smile then my eyes see Avaline. Beautiful as ever, shining with health and beauty, no wonder she was a Goddess. No one could look that good without being a Goddess.

“Avaline?” Sitting up slowly, moving as if my body has been asleep for a very long time. “Avaline what is going on? Why is Karl frozen? Are you feeling better Avaline did the healing work is that why your moving about? You know you should be sleeping, or at least resting. You were on deaths door, and until we can get you back your um..” Looking to Karl I could see that he could hear what I was saying but still was unable to move.

“Avaline, please can you release Karl? He has been here this whole time watching over you with me. Please Avaline, I... He... Well um you see I like him a lot and I don’t want him upset with me.”

Moving a bit more freely I move to Karl's side checking to make sure that he is unharmed. Its then that I realize that we are not the only three in the room. Gasping in surprise seeing that they have all be frozen just as Karl has, one with a gun in his hand.

Avaline, Iolantha, Karl.... not in Germany any more!

Avaline breathed a sigh of relief, Iolantha had been reached and she was finally lucid. She watched her eyes focus on the man that she had not yet “dealt” with fully. He was the only man in the room to still be able to hear and see what was going on, but Avaline knew that with a flick of her wrist he too could become completely unaware that she and Iolantha were there.

“I'll not harm him, but only because you ask. I have been given my powers back, I know that Richard has failed in his quest. I know the consequences of that failure, but I have no clue as to the time of the punishment.” Avaline looked over to the man known to her as Karl.

“I will release you, as you can see even if you attempt to overtake me... I will beable to topple you within seconds. Don't give me a reason to harm you... I will,” she told him, her voice thick with promise as well as confidence.

With a flick of her wrist she allowed the man to retain control of his limbs and his voice. “We leave now,” she told Iolantha. With a wave of both her hands, the group ascended to the clouds and the others were released. All knowledge of Avaline and Iolantha's presences was gone. Karl's officers would now believe he had been called away on a secret mission, and he would not be missed for sometime, if ever.

As they traveled through time and space she weaved a spell protecting Iolantha and Karl the pain of traveling in this manner. Soon they were all in her cloudy home and she was trying to catch up on the past, as well as seek out her fate. “There is wine and cheese,” she pointed to a table that suddenly materialized. “You're in my home. Iolantha watch your gentleman friend... I need a moment... I need to find out how much time I have.”

Avaline left the couple in her cloudy home, placing the barrier of protection around them. She then headed to her gardens and called for Zues or Hetta she needed them, she needed to know the laws of the Gods.

Zues, Hetta, Avaline ... confessions of the heart

Zues heard her plea and he rose from his bed, unable to deal with her at that moment he looked to Hetta.

“Oh no,” she told him. “You sentenced her you deal with her. I'll deal with Richard.“

Zues descended down to the gardens where Avaline was waiting. “Welcome back love.” He looked at her and though she was healthy the loss of her love was evident on her face. “I'm sorry,” he told her, opened his arms and pulled her toward him.

Avaline fell into his embrace, and she wept. She wept as hard as she did when she felt her daughter die. Her heart was breaking into a thousand pieces and she trembled in sorrow. “Then he failed,” she whispered against the wet tunic her leader was wearing.

“Unless he is bideing his time,” Zues said. “Do you think he is?”

She cocked his head. “I have been out of touch for sometime, you must tell me what has happened.“

Zues led her to a bench. They sat there two friends holding hands, each one only wanting to understand the lives of mortals. Zues told her of the removal of her powers, and making her human, so she would know what being human was like. He told her of Richard's status to God, and explained it was so he too would be aware.

“Did he enjoy the power do you think... and just hasn't noticed me, perhaps that is all, perhaps he hasn't abandoned me?“ Avaline cried out.

Zues stroked her silver mane. “My dear... he has had time. You were given rare diseases in your life as a mortal. You could have died... I wasn't going to step in unless I was forced to, but, I didn't have to. Your freinds, your mortal friends saved you my beauty. The sisters, Wyn, Raven and Iolantha gathered together and they fought the diseases of your body. The ones that I, Zues gave you, and they triumphed.“

Avaline smiled, “They gave me life.”

He grinned wide, “Yes my friend, they completed their quests.”

She chuckled, “I wasn't sure when they would figure it out, that is wasn't ever about the physical items. Those things would have been returned to there rightful place in history. There is only so much history we are allowed to mess up.“ She wiped the tears from her eyes. ”You're right my friend... even on deaths door I was not worthy enough to be saved by a God.“

Rising from the garden bench she walked to the fountain that spilled the water of life onto the ground and she sighed. “Where is he?”

“Hetta is returning him to his time, with no memorey of you or of his adventures,“ he huffed.

“Like I did with Valic? As if it were a dream?” she asked.

“If that is what you want... or she can remove all of it.“

She smiled softly, “No, let him have the dream, what man wouldn't want to dream he held the love of a Goddess in his heart. I do love him and,“ she closed her eyes. ”The rules Zues, I know what happens when he fails, how much time do I have?“

With a heavy heart he touched his friend's cheek, “You have as much time as you can make.”

“I see,” she lowered her head, her shoulders sagged. Then with a determination she shook her head, “Okay... catch me up with my charges.”

Zues smiled, “Sir Raymond, the swimmer is with Wyn and Raven, and I have found a mate for one of the ladies and his name is Draken. You will control his life also, just like the others. If you feel that he is not with the right woman, then by all means switch them. You know where Karl and Iolantha are.“

“Zues... I have no clue of this man's worth. How do I place him with a true love if I don't know him? The women accomplished their quest and will want their true loves revealed. How do I tell them... wait, hold on, I can't fulfill my end of the deal?“ Her eyes glared at her friend, ”You make my life difficult!“

“You'll find a way,” Zues pulled her in and hugged her close. “Take a moment to be by yourself in the Gardens. We, all of us Gods and Goddesses have been worried about you. You're time is limited my friend. You're sure you loved Richard?“

“Yes,” she answered.

Zues lifted his hand goodbye, and met up with Hetta. “Give him the memories... they will be his dreams and in them I want him to feel her pain, and I want him to dream this dream until he begs for forgiveness for sentencing her to death.“

LadyChance said:

Why would I be upset with her Karl thought as he looked from Avaline to the now conscious Io, she's done nothing to me, it's her goddess that's done frozen me in place. But that's because she thinks I'm still her enemy.

RedHairedandFriendly said:

"I know who you are now and only a fool would try to attack you," Karl told Avaline.

With that Avaline flicked her wrist and Karl could once again move, he quickly joined Io as Avaline waved her hands. Everything went dark for Kartl although he could still feel Io next to him, when he could next see he appeared to be standing on a cloud.

RedHairedandFriendly said:

Avaline left them alone, Karl was so nervous he clung to Io before kissing her deeply.

"Thank you for getting your Goddess to release me," he said as he broke the kiss. "I was afraid for you when she couldn't wake you," he added.

"Where do we go from here? Can we get to know each other better?" he asked Io

Raven , Wyn, Rymond and Draken.....Lost in South America

~~With a flick of his wrist the armlet was off and he was unfolding his Draconic wings, his tail fliping around his leg. I shall follow in your company if you three will have me."~~

Raven was taken aback by the sudden unfurling of wings and a ...TAIL....Her mouth opened slightly , somewhat in horror ...but mostly in surprise as she looked upon this stranger...this man that was by any other standards a human , but was actually part human and part DRAGON!
Unable to contain the mild shock of seeing what this man was/had become before their eyes...her curiousity got the better of her...

In her mind she whispered softly to Wyn...
~~Sister this man is someone...something we need to keep our eyes on...I am thinking he is not to be trusted...not yet...He is not of this time or any of ours...He is something else...There is more to him than meets the eye and we need to watch him carefully~~

She saw him speaking but was unable to focus on anything that came out of his mouth ...She was more focused on the wings and tail that he sprouted . A human would be one thing to be able to control , but this?....What the hell were the gods up top now...what were they supposed to do with a hybrid like this...was he meant to be with them or did all their time traveling rip the fabric of time to allow fantasy and reality to combine...mixing other worlds with their own....what have they done...They never should have messed with gods and goddesses. Happy hour at the hottest club in town would have bneen far better to have done then to conjure beings such as he to enter into their lives.

".... I shall follow in your company if you three will have me."
Oh sure...follow them and what if he has an appetite such as a dragon...then what...we three become his meal and then what?... Not wanting to show her mild distress of the situation Raven took a deep breath and spoke to the being before them.

" You say there is water not far from here...we shalll go there now and yes...you may travel with us if you wish...we need to gather our strength a little...my sister and I need to rest somewhat."

Nearing and looking up to him she glared and spoke silently, "Be warned though ...I have my eye on you and do not dare hurt my sister or our friend...do you understand?"

Standing her ground and blocking her thoughts from him she heard the other voice, from him, in a far distance...laughing evilly..the one he spoke of...but she would fear nothing to keep her sisters safe.
Turning to look at Wyn and Raymond, she smiled sweetly, "Let's go ...our new companion will be coming with us."

.....

"Forgive me for my earlier deciet. Normal humans, not empowered like you are, wouldnt understand something of my....nature.....so i use this as not to cause panic among humans."
(That didnt go as planed..)
<What'd you expect? Your not in Llonda anymore my draconic friend.>
(Dont remind me...)
Draken, having heard Ravens warning, nodded and bowed. "I would be the first to try and protect ones such as yourselves, not harm you, but your caution is understood. If i had wanted you dead i would have spared us the introductions and just went straight for your lives...again i mean no harm." Draken ruffled his wings behind him and followed the three humans, keeping his eyes out for any danger that might befall them

S. America/Raymond/Raven/Dragon/Wyn

"Uhhh, ladies? He's... a dragon... thing?" Raymond said slowly, all thoughts sexual instantly leaving his mind.

He moved next to Raven as she spoke and whispered to her she finished speaking.

"Raven... taking him with us seems like a bad idea. Lets just leave him here... or something."

Raven , Raymond , Wyn and Draken....oh my!!!

Placing a finger to the lips of the whispering Raymond...Raven whispers softly in his ear...fully aware that Draken will overhear or read her thoughts.

"Have you not heard the term...keep your friends close and your enemies closer sweetie?"

"I plan to keep this one as close as possible...even if that means....well ...anyway no worries . We will be fine" .

Looking up at Draken again, Raven nods and they all head out towards the water source that Draken spoke of earlier.

Io/Karl/Avaline/Her Place...

The trip was quick and then we were there, but then Avaline left with the offering of wine and cheese. Telling me to watch over my gentleman friend, which I had no problem with since as soon as Avaline left he grabbed me pulling me to him kissing me like there was no tomorrow.

It was the first kiss that I could remember of ever never wanting to let him go. But the kiss ended way to soon for me. Karl kept his arms about me though and that made me feel safe once more. "Thank you for getting your Goddess to release me,"

"Karl it wasn't that she was trying to hurt you I am sure but when she came awake she probably was confused and knew who I was but needed to make sure that she was safe along with me. But Avaline wouldn't purposely hurt anyone if she could stop it she would. I am sorry however that she didn't think to ask you if you wanted to come with us. You may not be able to go back now, and for that I am sorry. This will take from your existance and well I am not sure how you feel about it. Being brought into my quest like this must seem harsh to you but I found myself at a loss I didn't want to stay there but I.. I wanted to be with you as well."

"I was afraid for you when she couldn't wake you,"

Moving slowly from within the confines of Karl's arms I sit upon the couch and look up at him. Giving him what I hope to be a smile of reassurance, before cutting a small piece of cheese and pouring two glasses of the red liquid. Thinking that if I could just get him to relax a bit then the shock of everything wouldn't hit him to hard.

"When I healed Avaline it was like I gave all my being to her, I hadn't realized all that Wyn gave when she would heal one of us. I will have to thank her for her help, though I am sure she will be upset with me since I did not take much from her. Which explains why it took Avaline so long to bring me awake, being new to using such magic there is always a chance that the one doing it won't come back from it. Unless they know what they are doing, but for Avaline I was willing to take that chance and I would do it again if need be. But I didn't use all that Wyn gave me since it was me wanting to do it I figured that the chance was mine not hers."

Thinking of Wyn I wondered if she ok and how much I had indeed taken from her, though I knew it wasn't much it still made me concerned since I didn't know if she was hurt or if she needed it herself for some reason. But she had Raven with her, Raven would help her I knew it.

"Where do we go from here? Can we get to know each other better?"

Patting the sit next to me on the couch, I watch Karl take the empty spot. His words had thrown me but pleased me just the same. "Where we go is up to Avaline, she may send us to play with Raven, Wyn and Raymond. To help them with their quest. But I could not tell you for sure which way she will think, she is a Goddess after all."

"As for the next part of your question, I would like that very much indeed. At least it looks like we have plenty of time to get to know each other. It doesn't look like Avaline will be coming back any time soon." Smiling once more as I fit my hand into Karl's just wanting to feel him there. Even though I could see him, touching him made it more real to me. And even though I had said I was sorry to Karl for his being yanked from his life and brought here, at the same time I wasn't.

A slave, goosestepping in Berlin... it's not over yet

You didn't think it was over, did you? I'm sure you did. I'm sure relief swept through you, like some warmth that spread from the small of your back into the rest of your body. A cold chill, like the kind you get watching a good scary movie, but in reverse. It would be the feeling of a rainbow, perhaps, or a group of puppies that would scramble over their own feet just to lick your face all over.

There was everything to celebrate, and nothing to lose. The world had passed on, those things that went bump in the night had ceased, closing back into the shadows of the world, making you feel like perhaps they had just been your imagination all the time.

But what if it wasn't? What if those things that went bump in the night were things that went bump in the night. They were gross, grotesque. Their skin crawling with slime and pus, eyes as dark as pitch, and wings that overtook the sun. They existed, and they wished to tear the flesh from your bones.

Richard tried to get these thoughts out of his head, tried desperately to make them leave. They would not leave though. These thoughts had took a grip inside him, burrowing in as deep as they could, swallowing him hole, making him scream over and over again inside his own head. He was helpless, unable to move, to even act in his own way.

His eyes were made of glass, unable to focus on the world outside. They just remained phased, looking at the death and destruction around him. He walked only because his feet moved him, he moved alongside this man, only because he was ordered too. The world swept by them as they moved through the camp.

"Yes," The man said, looking at the others, "We now have a weapon I find most suitable. The world is ours."

Hitler had a satisfied and generated look on his face, as he spoke to top officials. Richard only looked from behind, still screaming as his mind molded with the thoughts from Hitler's head, over and over again, tormenting him to no end.

The group stopped talking though, once the woman appeared from behind a wall. Inside the concentration camp, she emerged like a goddess, reaching out to them. Richard screamed for help, beggint her to end this prison inside himself, this captured world which he could not escape.

"Richard, it is time to go home."

Hitler ground his teeth together, eyes closing to slits before the girl, "I thought this might happen. Once you have an ultimate weapon, everyone wants it. I am sorry, little girl. He is mine..."

She moved her hand, but Richard was faster... or, should I say, Hitler was faster. The moment he thought of the attack, Richard performed it. He pushed out, energy like hot fire swept through him, pushing at Hetta before him. She cried out, as her skin burned on her flesh. She wrapped her hands around her, forcing herself out of the blast. A blue field enveloped her, fighting off the flames.

Richard moved once more, as winged demons came out, crackling against her, and blasting at the field. They tried desperately to break through. With each strike, the shield grew weaker and weaker.

"Richard... stop..."

"I'm sorry," He tried to say, tried to scream, but his lips remained silent. He was silent inside the shell that continued to attack her. Hitler just smiled, answering for his imprisoned new pet, his God on a chain.

"He is mine. You remember that. I will use him to my own ends. The world is at my fingertips, and not you or anyone else can stop me."

As the shield broke as Hetta disappeared. The spot that held her swirled together with the dust from the ground, as the demons tried desperately to catch her. Seeing she was gone, they too disappeared.

Richard still stood there, motionless, the only change was sweat on her brow, beads pouring down like heavy dew. The world destroyed in a heartbeat, innocence shattered before Richard could even cry out in pain.

He was damned, and the would would ask for its payment soon enough.

Hitler caught that thought, and laughed aloud. His advisors laughed with him.

Karl & Io // Avaline's Cloud

“You may not be able to go back now, and for that I am sorry. This will take from your existance and well I am not sure how you feel about it. Being brought into my quest like this must seem harsh to you but I found myself at a loss I didn't want to stay there but I.. I wanted to be with you as well.”

Feeling Io put her hand into his Karl put his free arm around her shoulder drawing her closer to him.

“You’ve no need to be sorry about bringing me along, if I could have stopped her I wouldn’t have let you leave me, as I couldn’t stop her I’m happy to be here with you,” he told her giving her a smile. “I’d like to meet your sisters, wasn’t Raymond they guy you were with when you appeared in Germany that vanished?” he asked.

"As for the next part of your question, I would like that very much indeed. At least it looks like we have plenty of time to get to know each other. It doesn't look like Avaline will be coming back any time soon."

Hearing this Karl leaned across and kissed her, this time turning it into a long passionate kiss. The feel of her warm body pressed against his made him feel that he wanted more from her than just a kiss but was unsure how he’d be received. He gently removed his hand from hers stroking her neck and shoulders as the kiss continued, how he wanted to go further but dare not in case he’d misread Io. Eventually the kiss had to break as they both needed air, Karl by now had both arms wrapped about her pulling her as close to him as he could as they sat on the couch.

“How long do you think we have before Avaline returns?” Karl asked as he started to move so that they would both be lying on the couch.
