Thru Time... {All Welcome Please PM First}

Wyn helped Io hold Raven and Richard to keep them from falling to the ground feeling the pull of power leaving her own body and entering Raven so that she could help Richard remember Avaline.

Wyn couldnt help the small laugh that escaped her as they all fell to the ground together having pulled much more power then they had ever done peviously nor could she help the tears that fell as they had taken the trip with Raven and Richard... each of them seeing what the others had gone thru.... to find their loves, to pull Avaline back from death... and to what they now faced.

Wyn no longer cared if she found her true love.. she only wished for Richard and Avaline to be together as they deserved. The only two questions that remaind was did Richard remember now?, and How did they save Avaline?

Looking up from where she lay on the ground with her sisters and Richard she could see the other man that Raven had been talking to. She hadnt met him yet but she thought he was introduced as Lily's brother..

.Seeing the look of concern on his face, and the looks on Zuse's and his Lady's she said.. We will be alright were just a little drained.. it will be a few moments...Richard has alot to abosorb and well ... all we can do is wait and hope it worked.

Richard's return

The first thing he felt was the pain. Horrible and undeniable, it hit him, sucked him into his gut and would not let go. He knew everything, every detail climbing up inside him, finding their usual spots and roosting for all of eternity.

Her love, her honesty, her beauty, all of it gone from him. One stupid promise from one idiotic mistake. How could he have been so stupid as to make a promise to the most evil man in the world.

She had sacrficed herself to save him. She sacrficied everything.

He had to go back, he had to save her.

"I need," He got up, grimacing, "Some one help me. Help me find her. I need to get back to her. I will fight, I'll fight for every..."

But then they slipped again. He could feel them this time, not the nausea of moving through space and time, but just standing her, feeling all that love from inside him crawl out of his mind, like some water beading off a duck's back.

"No, come back," He held out his hands, dropping to the ground, "I love her, I love her so much. Don't leave me. Not again."

He tried to hold one, and then another, but they left. They faded, the way photograph's do when prolonged to exposure of the sun. First the colors melt together, and then the lines blur away, and all that is left is a vague shape of something you are not quite sure of.

The one last memory, the last one just before he left. Avaline above him, holding out her hand to an Oathbinder, that's what Hitler called it. An Oathbinder. She would become his slave if he made sure Richard made it to Zeus' side, and he was not to be harmed.

"Not harmed," He said, tears falling down his cheeks, "Is that why I can't keep your memories, they harm me too much?"

But, then he had to blink away the tears, a confused look on his face once more. He had been crying, yes, he used the back of his hand to wipe the tears from his cheeks, but why?

Hadn't it been for someone? Or something?

Wasn't there something he needed to do? Or was about to do.

Oh, yes, the lute! He was going to make his lute. He was going to make a new one because the old one was smashed. Of course. How sad, he loved his old lute, now it was gone. No wonder he had been crying.

He looked around, at the group of people, smiling, unsure why they were assembled.

"Hello?" He said, his brow furrowed, "What's going on?"

Hitler's new toy

He let his hands move up her side, gliding over the gentle curve of her hip and up further. Sweat beaded onto his fingers, and he watched the unfortunate dichotomy between her. She was obviously horny, hot, ready and willing, but she also hated him with every fiber of her being.

He wondered which one would hold out. Her need for sex, or her hate of him. It would be interesting to see which one was more powerful. He think he knew, but wasn't sure.

"It doesn't need to be this way, you know. You are making this a lot harde than it has to be. It could be nice, calm even. Think of it like two new people, with the world at our feet, literally. We can go anywhere, we can do anything. We have each other, and that is all we need. Isn't it?"

He smiled at her, pulling her closer to him, letting her body glide along his, smooth, silken, and perfect.

"It could be fun, it could be nice."

His lips touched hers, she tasted of lavender and honey, "It could be perfect."

Avaline felt the pull of Richard and then the snap of their connection being lost. She thought hard for a moment and just as the feeling of pain left her it was replaced with the disgust of the German's hands on her flesh. She stared down at him and found her hate growing.

Richard was gone and protected from harm, she knew that he would hurt emotionally, but physically he would be safe. In time, she knew the sisters would heal his heart, or at least someday he would find healing with another. Something told her it was over between her and her minstriel, she didn't want to accept it, but she knew in time she would have to.

As Hilter's hands covered her skin, his words blanketing her mind she closed her eyes and pictured her cloudy home. There on her bed of warm fluff, lay a man, a man that she would die for, a man she would give up everything for. There was her Richard.

"Richard," she whispered as Hitler spoke of giving in and making it easier for her. "Richard," she said louder as he felt the beads of sweat on her skin. She felt Richard's hands, heard Richard's voice and if the foolish German continued to toy with her skin, it would be Richard she came for and Richard she clasped deep within her sex.

"Richard. . . Richard. . . Richard," she continued to whisper over and over as Hitler did whatever he wanted to her flesh. "Richard," she said with conviction as Hitler's lips slid over hers.

Raven took a deep breath and let it out slowly. She heard Richard as he remembered and was elated,... but too weak to move, let alone show any sign of relief. But just as quickly as the memories came to him...they left him.
She fought back the tears, all that she had all witnessed in her mind...the memories ...all of them...both the good ones and the bad...and the final one....the hardest to deal with...one which made her heart ache.
No...this was not supposed to happen...why was he not able to recall them...why was he unable to keep his memories of her. Jake was near by and she struggled to sit up. As he helped her, her hand touched his and she felt his confusion and pain inside for Lily...his sister. raising her hand to his head she sent a calming ease through him...saying softly to him...

"Shhh...she is fine and well...be at ease Jake."

Raven reassured her sisters that she was fine and looked around the group. What were they going to do. Somehow they had to fix this or they would never return back to their own time.
A dull ache pounded in her head and as she held her head in her hands a name kept popping up in her mind. It made no sense to her..she had never heard of it before. But it was there...nagging at her...wanting to be spoken. But why?
Raven despite the headache and the disappointment of Richard's memory loss and pain, began to feel a little like herself again.
They still had a God with them...it was better than being totally alone in another time. A God...Zeus...perhaps he would know what they needed to do.
But he seemed so distant in his own thoughts ...it didn't bode well for them from what she could tell.

Looking at the faces around her, Raven felt the anxiety and disappointment and fear that is barely masked behind the faces. She tries desperately to block it and for it not to overwhelm her. But she can't and it makes her mind ache and pound harder.
The memories... the feelings...more than she can handle.... all at once flood back into her, through her and begin to pour out of her mouth. At first it comes in whispers...then it gets louder as the others turn to her and listen to what she is saying...she is no longer in control of what comes out of her mouth...she is taken over by not only her own memories, but those of Richard. And the feelings and some of the thoughts of the others. All come racing out of her .
They listen as she tells of the memories, one in particular keeps being mentioned. A name. ....... Oathbinder.

Hitler's rage

"I can make it hurt," He said as he nibbled on her ear, pausing their moment of love making. He had to, he could not handle another man's name being spoken to him as she kissed and nuzzled this goddess. He was so close to taking her as his own, but that word on her lips, heavy on her heart, would not let him go.

"I can make you feel pain every time you think of him, nausea. Is that what you want? Do you want to try my patience? See just how far you can push me before I push back?"

Hitler pushed her off him, watching as she crumbled to the floor. He got up, looking around the apartment.

"Fine. We'll see then. Take me someplace public, a park near here. That will do. If you would like to play games, Avaline. Then I suppose it is time for us to play."

Avaline’s eyes flashed with fury and she immediately flicked her wrists. They stood off to the side of a park, no one yet noticing them. She stared out at the people, children, men, women, old couples walking hand in hand, all of them bundled against the cold January wind. There were ice-skaters skating across the pond, and a path had been shoveled so people could walk up and down it.

The cold air slammed against them both and she remembered that she was supposed to care for Hitler’s comfort. She immediately had them both wrapped up in warm clothing. Thick coats and warm gloves and hats kept their bodies at a comfortable temperature. “We are here,” she muttered. Her warm air stirred the frozen air, though they both unaffected by the air around them.

She stared at him again. Memorized his face, it would be one that she would enjoy watching Hades suck the life out of over and over again. She’d never witnessed the games that the evil God performed on his subjects, but as Avaline’s hatred for the being next to her grew, she was becoming more appeased with the idea.

Hitler's bright idea.

"Good, this will work."

He looked for one. One of them that had the right look. He wanted to be with a big group of people, lots of different types of people, with different looks, different types, different personalities.

One man in particular, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was talking with friends, his family, they all laughed as he cracked a joke, his eyes beaming.

He looked so much like Richard it hurt.

"That man," He said, walking towards him. The crowd dispersed.

"It's simple. I own you now. So you look at this man in the eyes. you kiss him, you tell him you love him, you whisper your precious name of Richard... and then I want you to kill him. I want you to imagine the worst death possible and then do it to him, right here while everyone watches, while you watch. You kill him, and then come back to me. Do you understand, Avaline?"

The man picked that moment to pause, looking over at Hitler and Avaline. He gave a small smile as he saw her, how beautiful she was. He sparkled with interest, wild with imagination. He could have easily been Richard's twin.

"Go on... slave."

Avaline closed her eyes and took the fateful steps that would lead her to the man’s side. She may or may not have been able to barter with Hitler, begged him to change his mind, but she didn’t. She walked slowly through the snow, the crush of her boot packed the white fluff down. The fluff reminder her of her home and that reminded her of a song and the song reminder her of her love. . . “Richard,” she whispered as she walked toward the man.

Her eyes focused on him and she noticed the little differences. The laughter wasn’t the same, the smile was tilted off kilter, the eye color didn’t sparkle like Richard. So Avaline looked at the man the way he truly was, she saw the lust in his eyes and the desire he had for her and she saw his family and his joy in being with them. But she still moved forward, every step closing the distance.

“Richard,” she told the man. He started to tell her his real name, but she paused him with a touch of her lips against his. She pushed her tongue into his mouth and stroked it firmly. She then pulled away and turned to leave. Then stopped and walked back to him and the woman that looked so confused and hurt.

“He’s mine. He’s been in my bed, my sex, my mouth. I’ve loved him for months now and you are nothing to him, you are just a mere woman that will never have the power that I wield. Goodbye my love,” she told the man and went back to Hitler.

The man’s eyes filled with sorrow as the woman turned to him and slapped him hard. His heart shattered into a thousand pieces. The woman left him, taking his soul with him. His entire body felt the world weigh down on him as he felt the loss of his children being pulled away. Everyone in the park did just as Hitler wanted. They watched the man crumble before them, watched the beautiful woman that had destroyed a happy life with a kiss and some lies. But the man lived. Avaline had murdered him. . .she however had taken away his reasons for being happy, for Avaline that was the worst possible death, for she had lived it and was living it now.

She said nothing at first when she returned to Hitler’s side, just waited for him to counteract her actions with the ones she knew he would, but right now she had proven her point. He would have to spell it out for her, for she would never give him an inch. “Richard,” she hissed in his ear.

Wyn got to her feet as quickly as she could trying to reach for Raven... reaching out enough with her own power to know that Raven was having a melt down do to too to much information.. Wyn did the only thing she could think of and looking at her said..I am sorry sis .. Forgive me. I love you.. and punched her knocking her out so that in her sleep she could absorb the memeories at a safe pace, and hopefully not loose her mind in the process.

With sadness in her eyes she looked from Raven and Richard to Io, and then Zuse before she said..Who or what is an Oathbinder??, and what the hell can we do about it?

Zues and the gang minus Avaline

Zues had heard the name spoken and he growled deep in his throat as fury erupted inside him. He moved back to the others and looked at Wyn. “Oathbinder is a powerful God. His power though does not lie in his magic, but in his weaving of contracts. If Oathbinder is behind all of this then Avaline is working willingly with Hitler. There is no doubt of that. She is tied to him. There is nothing you can do.”

He sat down next to Richard and sighed. “I’m sorry you do not remember all that you have been through. I must ask you to trust us. I know you do not recall us or the woman we speak of, but we need your help... she does. She cares about you very much and would die for you. If however you wish to be returned to your home then I will do that for you now and we will continue on the journey alone, though I truly do not think we can do this without you.”

He looked to the others. “I am all powerful, but even I can not break the bonds of a contract. We can help in this quest though. We will all need to agree, for the journey will be to the depths of pain and suffering that none of you have ever known... and I don’t know if you are all strong enough yet.” He stared long and hard at Raven, he was very concerned for her. Was she strong enough to continue, or should he send her back too?

“When you are all ready. We will travel again. I suggest you talk amongst yourself and let me know your decision.”

Zues walked to the table and grabbed some of the succulent fruits and enjoyed the distraction they gave him. He didn’t want to think of where they were going, he hated visiting Hades, twice in a few hours were twice to many.

Richard's acceptance

Richard could not help but feel like this was the start of something new, something exciting. He had never been with such strange people before, and in such strange dress. It looked as if they were all so different and unique. No one fit together, as if they were a band of misfits forced to join together for a common cause.

"I would love to join your merry band," He said, offering his services, "I know I can not offer much, but what little I can do will be to help everyone else. I can sing, I can dance. I can inspire confidence with my song and words. I can bring a tear to dry eyes, and put a smile on even the most solid of faces. Please, allow me to demonstrate."

He moved up to the bowl of fruit, gathering it up in his hands. With a flip of the wrist they all flew into the air, seemingly at random. A moment of flux passed as his hands reached out with amazing speed to grab each one, and toss it back in the air. He juggled five pieces of fruit with the simplest of ease.

"And that is not all," He sang out his best cord, one from an old play he knew. The Young Housewife a story of a woman caught in a horrible relationship that falls in love with a young man, who shows her the meaning of life once more.

"Also many other things. If I had my lute I could show you more. I am afraid it was broken earlier today though. And... I am sorry but I do not know where my pack is, all my instruments were in there."

That is odd, he was sure he set it on the ground before he climbed the tree. It was nowhere to be found though. Perhaps bandits went off with it. That would be a shame.

Karl plus everyone minus Avaline and Lily.

Karl watched the sisters trying to bring Richard’s memory back to him, for a brief moment it looked like they’d succeeded but then he lost them again. The three girls and Richard collapsed on the ground from the energy that had been used in the attempt.

What Karl couldn’t understand was why Richard’s memories had been stolen, what harm could be done if he remembered. Whoever had stolen his memories had made it virtually impossible for them to be put back so he’d be complete again. Everything appeared to have gone, he couldn’t even remember meeting some of the girls which had happened before he fell in love with Avaline. Did Richard’s memories have some tie to Avaline was that why they were stolen leaving him confused and lost.

He heard Raven mention the name oathbinder and saw Zues shiver as he heard it said. What was an oathbinder, it obviously was a powerful magic artefact to make Zues look worried.

Jake watches, slowly eating and waiting for answers. Til the pair collapse anyways. He catches Raven before she can fall and do harm to herself. Her comment about Lily sohes him but it still doesn't explain everything. Oh well. Apparently he will have to find out as he goes.

"Well, where is it we have to decide if we will go? What will we do?" He takes a sip of the drink he pours for himself then grimaces. It is warm. He touches the glass and the insides are turned to the coldest point before freezing solid. He sips again and smiles grimly muttering "At least I can have a cold drink"

Zues and the others - two = Trouble

Zues saw it was time to go. There were no special chants, charms, or incantations he could weave over the group to protect them from where they were going next. He gathered them all together and studied Jake for a moment and then everyone else. “I have returned Lily to her home, please she is resting and when all is right with the world, she will wake up and it will have all been a dream. . . all of it.“

He then lifted his arms and the group was pulled with him, just like they had been countless other times. This time however when the settled on the floor of a cave it was not dark or dingy. Instead it was swealtering and they were on a shelf that reached out over a rolling river of lava. “Be still,” Zues spoke with authority.

“Deep within these passages and tunnels is the home of Hades. You'll see and feel all sorts of horrible things. Raven. . . YOU must block out the pain, if you can not, take this...“ he said, handing her a charm. ”Leave now. If you can not block out the hurt that the souls feel while you are here then you will be too weak to continue. Use the charm and go, otherwise you must all break into groups.“

Wyn, you, Richard and Jake need to find a ruby the size of my thumbnail,“ he ordered, showing his hand for them to examine. “No bigger, no smaller. . . NOTHING else.” Zues knew there would be demons along the way tempting them from their path, but he also knew he could not tell them that. This was Hades lair and the fact the God had not yet shown himself was not a good sign.

Karl, you and Raven and Io will search for an amulet. It is gold with the mouth of a serpent opened, on the front.“

“I will go in search of our Host, once you have these things you must find your way back here. DO NOT bring anything else back with you, do you understan?“

Once he saw that they did, he left them, floating over the pit of lava until he landed on a floating chunk of rock that carried him deeper into the bowels of evil and death.

Wyn nodded understanding what it was that she needed to do and prayed they would find one the right exact size because she didnt want to know what would happen if they didnt.

Looking over at Jake she asked..Are you ready? when he replyed she nodded and walked in the direction that Zuse told them to go.

Karl /Raven /Io

Karl couldn't believe they were at the gates to the underworld, the world of the dead, but he knew Zues wouldn't lie about a thing like that.

He looked at his two companions and wondered what they were thinking, he hoped they had enough magic between them to protect them as all he had was his pistol.

"Shall we go?" he asked the two girls turning in the direction that Zues had indicated. He didn't know what power the serpent amulet would hold but it must be important if Zues needed it.

Raven and the others in the bowels of Hell....

Raven had heard her sister Wyn say sorry, then everything went black. Her mind had calmed and she felt more at ease as the memories and images settled down and she was able to absorb them and put them where they needed in her minds many vaults.
Her eyes opened to the sound of Zeus's voice and rubbing the place where her sister had punched her, she felt the now familiar traveling going on.

When they came to a stop, she thought south america was warm, damn...she took in their surroundings and knew exactly where Zeus had brought them. This could not be good. There was one thing about telling someone to go to hell...but standing on a shelf over the rolling lava river, actually there, was a
total shock to say the least. She made a mental note to herself to refrain from ever saying that to anyone again , unless really provoked, if they should ever get out of here in one piece.

"Raven. . . YOU must block out the pain, if you can not, take this...“ he said, handing her a charm. ”Leave now. If you can not block out the hurt that the souls feel while you are here then you will be too weak to continue. Use the charm and go."

Raven accepted the charm and held it in her palm and knew what he meant by blocking out the things that she could feel. It didnt help that being with her sisters intensified those feelings in her. The amulet would help and she would do her best to block out whatever she could and remain with the group.

"Karl, you and Raven and Io will search for an amulet. It is gold with the mouth of a serpent opened, on the front."

Hearing Zeus's instructions was fine, it sounded clear enough, but the look on his face gave her reason to doubt it would go so smoothly. Looking at Karl and Io...she hoped they would be able to find this amulet. Not to mention be alright in here.

She followed them blocking out all that was threatening to invade her mind and hoped for the best in this ungodly heat.

Io, Karl, Raven... Is it hot in here or just us?

Giving Karl a nod before looking to Raven, concern for her deep within my chest. Things had been hard so far but I had this feeling they were to get harder. Would Raven be able to handle going into here, with the souls and pain here I knew her ability would pick it up and she would feel it. I could only hope the amulet that Zues had given to her and my help would be enough.

The tunnel we walked down smelled strongly of sulphur, the walls glowed reddish in color, almost the color of blood. Tho I was almost sure it wasn't blood that ran freely along the wall and floor. This place gave me the feeling that if we weren't careful of where we stood or how long we stood in one place something would suck us in and never release us from its hold.

Turning to look at Raven I can see how strong she is trying to be, the look of concentration upon her face makes me so very proud of her. When.. IF we got home I would have to tell her how much I love her and how proud of her I actually am. But right now we have a job to do, we have to find that amulet, and get Avaline back.

Zues, Hades, and the rest, minus Avaline. .. ummm oops, edited my last post too. btw

Zues met Hades minutes later. His eyes locking with those of the most despised of the Gods.

“You shouldn’t be here again,” he told Zues. “I allowed you to bring the one mortal here and then you took him back, only to kill him again. Are you losing control old man. . .perhaps it is time for another to reign?” Hades stared at the other God as he flicked his wrist and a small creature scurried away, soon two more appeared only to be sent off with another flick of Hades slim wrist.

“They are on a quest. You know what they seek,” Zues answered.

“Yes. . . I do hope they obey the rules.”

Both Gods turned to watch a globe come forth. It was suspended in the air and as it spun quickly images appeared. Eventually Hades finger rose and the globe stopped. It rested on nothing as pictures of the travelers were projected to Zues. “Let us see if they are worthy of my gifts.”

***

The first minion that had scurried away quickly became the image of a beautiful woman. Her eyes the color of the sky on a clear Summer day, her hair hung down her back and its color was that of spun honey. Her face was one of great beauty, her breasts full, her hips narrow.

She rested quietly on a rock, her eyes looked wounded as tears fell steadily down her cheeks. That would be how she was found when Raven, Io and Karl found her. Her delicate hands covered her face and she wept over the loss of her child that lay dead at her feet.

***

The other two minions had rushed off in another direction. They hung suspended from chains. Their bodies suspended and wounds covered their broken flesh. Some were new, some old. Many were green and yellow, full of a foul odor that seeped from deep within their bodies.

They moaned and begged for relief. Death. Life. It didn’t matter. They hurt and wanted healed. That was how Wyn, Richard and Jake would find them. Pleading for life as more welts and infectious spots appeared on their body without warning or any noticeable cause.

Wyn walked with Richard and Jake scerching for a ruby the size of Zuses thumb nail, and doing her best not to touch anything for fear of recuring Hades rath.

It wasnt easy most of the gems they found were dimonds.. there were a few saphiers and topaze, and many many others the few rubys they did find were the wrong size..
are ether of you having any luck? she asked before moving down the hall a little further. Hearing some sounds ahead like someone.. or rather several someones were in pain... Moving forward quickly Wyn at first thought that Io or one of the others was injured.

Wyn froze at what met her sight as she rounded the corner.. she knew this was hell and it was Hades terratory... but they were in soooo much pain, and torture...

As a healer it was killing her not to reach out and save them.. not to heal them or sooth them even in the sligthest bit... She could feel her hands shaking and tryed to hide them behind her back, but it didnt help...

Turning she rushed back the way she had come, tears streaming down her face, and knocked Richard and Jake over in the process.. she couldnt stay in that room and not help them.. and she knew it.... Not with out help...

Wyn stopped halfway back down the hall still with in Richard and Jakes sight and slid down the wall into a sitting position... Crossing her arms over her knees she layed her head on her arms and cryed.

Hearing Jake and Richards foot steps she looked up at them, and wiped the tears from her eyes. I am sorry ... i cant go in there .. i cant pass those people and not help them... do you have anything that we can use to blind fold me and plug my ears .. I'll trust you to lead me thru if you think you can. Her voice was shaky from her crying and the thought of those people hanging there in chains..

Karl / Io / Raven

As the walked through the tunnel Karl had a strange feeling it sent shivers down his spine but he couldn’t quite put his finger on what he could feel. He knew they were walking where no living being was supposed to tread, so he put his feelings down to that.

Seeing the beautiful woman ahead weeping over a dead child, suddenly brought back memories of the war that told him that there was something wrong with what he could see.

“Stop! There’s something wrong here,” he said to the two girls with him. Suddenly he realised what was wrong with the vision ahead. “We’re in the land of the dead and we have a living woman weeping over a dead child, if she’s here she must be dead as well.” He told them when they both turned to him.

“Zues told us not to take anything other than the amulet, If she’s alive we should take her with us but that would definitely cause us to fail in our mission. I know that Raven can feel the hurt she’s suffering but it’s got to be ignored so we can carry on, this is like a trap to divert us from our task,” he argued trying to get the girls to see what was happening.

Raven, Iolantha and Karl

Breathing deeply to still all the feelings that threatened to invade her from all sides, Raven followed closely with Io and Karl. When Karl stopped she had a feeling it would'nt be good. Moving to his side she looked ahead and saw what he was looking at.

Clutching the amulet tightly in her hand, so tightly it was digging into her palm causing more pain, but keeping her from feeling anything else. Nodding as Karl spoke she knew it was not right. It had to be a trick, there was no way a live woman would be down here and she felt it best to get past this image as quickly as they could.

"We cannot help her or take her with us Karl, we must not take anything but that what we were told to get, we have no choice but to leave her."

It was a haunting image and she felt a little of the pain and the deep sorrow that was being emitted from the "woman"...but the thing that got her most was the sight of the dead child on the ground. Closing her eyes she concentrated hard on remembering where they weere and what their task was and keeping focus on that alone. They needed to find that serpent amulet.
Taking hold of her sister's arm and touching Karl's arm she motioned that they hurry past this "woman".

Richard's simpleness.

"If you want to help them, you should."

There was nothing simpler. He could not stand the cried of pain anymore than she could. And, if she could help them, if she were a healer perhaps that would end their suffering.

Or, if it were better yet, they would just kill them. That too, would be an end. To suffer is torture, and Richard did not mean for these two poor things to suffer.

He watched in a sad light as they hung, suspended, broken and bleeding above the ground. Long chains kept their limp bodies from falling to the ground. He followed the chains, to one sconce on the far wall.

As he depressed it, the chains slowly fell, and the poor souls lowered to the floor.

Richard took off his coat, putting it around one of them.

"If you can do something, please... they need medicine, or water. I have neither I am afraind."

All he had was the coat on his back, and even now it was being used for comfort and support.

Richard wait .. this is hell so to speak Hadies rules here not Zuse we cant just free them or heal them with out concequince... we cannot save the entire underworld they are dead. Wyn said with tears still in her eyes, but it was too late the damage if any were done was done.

Slowly getting to her feet Wyn moved around the corner with Jake beside her and watched as Richard placed his coat around one of the injured peoples sholders. "If you can do something, please... they need medicine, or water. I have neither I am afraind."

Wyn shook her head hearing Richards words a feeling of forboding settiling about her, for she feard Hadies wrath... as she had told Richard this was his domain Zuse couldnt help them here... they had failed in their task to find the ruby, by helping these poor tortured souls.I cannot help them Richard.. tho their crys pain me... i think this was a test to see if we could mess with nothing but the ruby we were to find.
