hey I wish I had a light table. I am playing with paper embossing for my christmas cards and a light table would make it sooo much easier.THROBBS said:Transparencies?
How "old school"!
Now where's my slide pojectur?
I have a light table (which is actually quite heavy).
hmmm. our lucigraph (lucy) was a tall metal box. It had a shelf down below that was lighted and a curtained glass surface about chest height (depending on your height) the image was projected onto to glass and we could enlarge and reduce the image and trace it.THROBBS said:I got this particular Light table at a garage sale ("tag sale" some might call it)
it originallt belonged to Ford Motor Company. It's cool, a wooden monstrosity.
I have, more than once taped paper to windows, or had a sheet of plexi on my lap and a lamp on the floor.
I have never used a Lucy, but I know what one is... a projector of a vague and fuzzy image!
