Excerpt from from the Rock Mountain Chronicle.

DONUT SHOP ROBBERY
(VAC) Achmed Modamed, the owner of the local Dunkin Donut shop, reported that late last night, his establishment was robbed by a large, hairy creature with large, sad eyes and extremely long fingernails. Employees called him at home sometime after one AM and hysterically related the story.

It seems that a large hairy creature wandered into the shop, walked behind the counter and began eating donuts and drinking coffee right from the pot. "It seemed to prefer the Jelly Filled Donuts and ate all of those first," related Johnny Lowlife, one of the employees present during the robbery. Sherry Gothchick, another employee present, said the creature frequently pointed at her and said "Pretty?" in a raspy, questioning lisp like voice.

According to Modamed, the creature ate more than four dozen donuts and drank three pots of nearly boiling hot coffee right from the pots before exiting through a back door with five large plastic bags it filled with donuts.

Local police attempted to collect DNA evidence, but found the drool splatters from the creature dissolved the cotton swabs they used to collect the evidence. Police are examining the shops video surveillance tapes for clues but have refused comment so far. Rumors around town say that police are attempting to follow a trail of donut crumbs. Police Chief Jeremy Oglesgirls says that reports of cops destroying evidence through consumption are untrue.
