Three Rocks Woods (Open)

Drea watched the Orc as she followed Lauren into the little rock outcropping that the Orc had pointed to. " Lauren why is it helping us?" She spoke quietly to Lauren

Lauren Cabot

"Helping us? Helping us would be letting us go back for Trent. I think this fellow just doesn't want to share us with the others."

Drea nodded some and looked at Lauren, " As soon as it gets in here and the other ORcs move away, we attack it and kill it. Then we find Trent."

Lauren

Lauren nods her head, as she listens for the sounds of the other monsters, hoping to hear they are fading into the distance but afraid they are not.

Drea listens closely and also sets up a small stash of rocks in the corner, " I think they are retreating. We can do this Lauren."

The apparent standoff between female and orc continued. The torches faded into the distance as the search went elsewhere. The humanoid sat on his haunches...from time to time a hand strayed to his ten inches of manhood, tented in his loincloth.

Then came the biggest shock of all.

"You--hoo-mans from Other World?"

Lauren

"Wait Drea." She turns to the creature... the one who spoke... dammit. What the hell is going on now..

She doesn't answer him she just asks, "What do you want?"

Drea was standing there in to much shock to attack the creature. " Why are you hunting us down?" That was the only question that came to her mind besides wondering how this thing could talk to her.

The orc grinned. "We hut hoo-man because hoo-man weak. But now we see hoo-man in strange clothes. Know nothing of our world. So a few of us...cur-e-us. Where you hoo-mans in strange skins come from?

Drea looked at Lauren and tried not to laugh, " We are trying to get home and we aren't your typical humans. " She looked at the Orc then sat down next to Lauren

The orc nodded, taking that in. "Some other hoo-mans come last rain-time. They carry blast-sticks. They look for black goo. Say stinky black goo valuable."

Drea nodded some, " That goo is called tar and its kind of valueable to us but why are you Orcs trying so hard to trap us?"

Lauren

"What happened to the others? Were they the ones who taught you speak?"
Lauren looks at Drea and gives her a look that can only mean - what the fuck?

"They take me captive. They beat me, ask many kwest-shuns. About black goo. Black goo burn bright, smell terrible. But they want it. So they teach me Eng-leesh. They fly new cloth. White, red, with white stars in blue sky."

Drea looked to Lauren and nodded some then looked at the Orc. " Hum.....thats interesting but you didnt explain to me why you are hunting us down. I know theres other humans out there so why us?"

The orc looked at them with feral eyes. "Thrill of hunt. And, years ago, sickness come. Many orcs die. After sickness, females not have any young. Only hoo-man females to have orc young."

Lauren Cabot

At his response, Lauren turns a sickly white.

"That is awful. How could you do that? What is wrong with you?"
She calms a bit.

"I am sorry tht the others took you captive but that doesn't make it right. Its wrong. Just plain wrong."

Drea nodded some and looked at the Orc, " You cant just go around hunting humans and forcing us to reproduce with you. Look, the two of us are smart. We may be able to find out why you cant reproduce." She looked at Lauren and nodded some, " You are a doctor and Im a surgeon."

Lauren Cabot

She supressed a smile, doctor and surgeon...

She nods in agreement, "Yes, very smart. I also am the Queen of England, and Drea won the World Cup all by herself. So, you see, we can help you. We are too important to be wasted making baby half-orc."

Drea looked at Lauren and thought she may have been taking it too far with that one. She looked to the Orc, " We can help your people. Make you stronger. Your females will be able to reproduce again."

Lauren

Thinking she may have gone too far, she agreed with Drea. "We want to help. We want there to be peace between the humans and the Orc. This is a beautiful world, it deserves to be shared. We will help make that possible."

As she said her words, there was an unmistakeable sound: the stacatto rattle of a machine gun. It wasn't nearby, but it wasn't exactly far away either. "The new hoo-mans," the orc said, craning his head to hear more. "We go fight them!" With that, he was gone into the night. The crackle and rattle of automatic weapons fire grew louder.

Lauren turns to her friend and a slight smile twitches at the corner of her mouth. "That went much better than I expected, I especially liked the part at the end where the big ugly monster ran away to die, hopefully, riddled with bullets."

All trace of a smile disappears as she continues. "Ok, we can't stay here, we don't want to be here when he comes back. We can't run towards the gunfire, we'd risk finding the orcs before we find the people or getting mowed down ourselves. We could try to find the town, we might be safer there."

She takes a deep breath, "Or we can risk doubling back to find out what happened to Trent."

"Unless you have any other suggestions, of course, hun."

Drea smiled and looked at Lauren, " We have to go back and find Trent. He saved our lives and he may need help. We have to find him." Drea stood up and grabbed her stick again then stepped out of the cave and looked around. " Grab a weapon before we leave."
