Three positives from your day

I have had a seriously sh***y day, to the point the police may have to be involved, so this is particularly challenging today. Here it goes:

Had a catch up with someone special

Had a delicious brunch

I really stepped out of my comfort zone

2. I didn't murder anyone.
3. I didn't go to jail

Spending some good time with my daughter

Taking my dog out for a walk where he could run off the leash

Seeing LikeableMe find the silver linings in an otherwise shitty day.

1. I got up this morning with enough time to make it to a super early yoga class

2. I organized my desks at my office, in my lab area, and my home (long overdue and causing major stress)

3. Two people hit on me before lunch (and not in a creepy way)

1. Finished another topic area write-up.

2. Sent off three topics to my writer's group to review at the meeting next week.

3. Made plans to go to dinner and a movie afterwards

I helped give a former coworker a reason to celebrate tomorrow.

Former co-workers I had not seen in many months/years were met with hugs.

Getting to speak to someone who brings me peace helped me get to sleep in less than five minutes! (Yes that was today, as it was after 2am!)

Today is my shortest working day ‘only’ eight hours, so I’ll be home a few hours before bed time

I’ll have time to get a few chores done later, if I can stay awake long enough!
