PENDING STORIES AND AI REJECTION ISSUES - WHAT TO DO

Apologies for not posting in German - I fear Google Translate will not do justice to my English LOL

AS well as the Pending Stories issues, any number of authors have had their stories rejected for alleged AI usage. Whatever Literotica is using to detect AI usage seems to be returning a lot of false positives and nobody has found any real solution to this.

Literotica has not been at all communicative on either of these issues - personally, I wonder to what extent Laurel and Manu are aware that these ARE major issues that are driving authors away to other sites.

My take on it is that while authors are not using AI, the use of tools such as Grammarly maybe be driving this - these tools all follow the same rules and recommend the same stylistic and grammatical changes which to a reader is quite noticeable. I dropped using these tools because of that -

I'd recommend three things
(1) Everyone who hits this issue Use the feedback option in your control panel
(2) Everyone who hits this issue Open a Bug Ticket
(3) EVERYONE who hits this false positive AI problem PM Laurel using a standard header - "Story Rejected due to false positive on AI Usage" or "Story has been in Pending for x days/weeks"

- a high volume of Feedback, Bug Reports and PM's all reporting the same issue will shine more light on the issue(s)
- I suspect part of the problem is a lack of awareness of the impact this is having (both the AI Rejections and the current issue with Pending Stories going into a Black Hole
- Complaining on the forums doesn'r achieve anything - the threads disappear quickly and I doubt Laurel or Manu browse the forums looking for issues
- In his last few posts Manu has highlighted using the Feedback form to report issues so I would suggest doing this for EVERY SINGLE OCCURRENCE of these issues. THAT will get attention and ensure awareness of the impact

To do this go to your Control Panel, go to Help and select "New Feedback"
- I'd recommend using the same Feedback Subject - "Story Rejected due to false positive on AI Usage" and "Story has been in Pending for x days/weeks"
- For Feedback Tags, I'd suggest standardizing on "Critical System Failure" - both these issues are completely blocking authors from successfully submittimg their stories
- For Feedback Category - "Publishing Your Work" is the obvious one
- For subcategory, "Story Submission" is the obvious one

AGAIN, I SUGGEST EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO HITS THESE ISSUES SUBMIT FEEDBACK - this seems to be the Site's preferred option

Do this AND submit a Bug Report - link here: https://www.literotica.com/stories/quest/bugs.php?id=3

First of all, thank you so much for reaching out and finding our quiet German corner here.

I’ve just been hit with two rejections yesterday — both for the final chapters of my stories (one a bigger project with nine chapters in total, and one a smaller, fun story split into five parts).

Many of us here are at a loss and don’t know what to do, especially since quite a few well-established authors — people who’ve been publishing here for years — seem to be affected as well, and understandably don’t want to “dumb down” their stories just to satisfy an AI detection algorithm.

I’ll definitely try your approach later and will make sure to update here if there’s any progress.

Gern geschehen - und ich werde euch auf dem Laufenden halten, was auch immer wir herausfinden

You are not alone. It's the same on the English side - it's hitting authors who have been here for years, multiple stories and they don't use AI at all. It's the same with the Pending stories issue, tpp/ We do have a coupleof threads in the English Authrs Hangout on this - feel free to post there and ask - we're all impacted by this - and I'll track this thread so feel free to reach out to me as well - I have asked Laurel and Manu about this but haven't had a response, which is not unusual LOL. I'll drop in here with any updates.

Good luck - I haven't been hit by the AI issue but I did get sent into the Pending Story black hole. I deleted my story completely from pending after 7 days and resubmitted it and it went through.

For stories rejected due to AI, I would really recommend using both the Feedback and Bug Report - if its rejected, leave it sitting in the folder and use that link in the Feedback and Bug FReport forms. Manu does look at the Feedback and from one or two other users reports, he does seem to be addressing these issues where they are reported thru the Feedback form

I haven't checked the English forum for a few days, but my impression is that people over there aren't to fond of Ai rejection posts in general, but that might have changed since the mass rejection issue is a Relatively new phenomenon.

No they're not - but I think a little more tolerant now as its impacting more people and the Pending Stories issue has also hit more thana few people.
