1) I found that the modifications that I made to a biscuit recipe work and I successfully baked 10 biscuits of a desirable height for breakfast. I gave five of them to my ladyfriend to take home to her family.
2) I found an oven thermometer for sale on Gringo Post. It was still available when I called the seller and I now own it.
3) I served my ladyfriend her first cup of coffee which was topped off with whipped cream. She's hooked now.

I can't do a positive without stating a negative to cancel it out, so here goes:

1. My arm muscles are developing nicely (but I still can't get rid of the excess skin on my belly).

2. I didn't hate myself when I wore a girly wig earlier (I still wish my face was softer, though).
