What you (two years you've posted suspiciously little) seem to avoid with your storytelling is that it's IMPOSSIBLE for the cellphones to recieve calls while flying at cruising altitude.
and I really mean, IMPOSSIBLE.
Cellphones ring sometimes because they have an alarm setting. The ringing you mention (if true) was ONLY because of that - an alarm was set, the cellphone rang on the appointed set time for that alarm.
You didn't mention that the "fellow passenger" talked on the phone, you only said that the phone rang and that they hurried to switch it off. No cellphone call was recieved - because it's a technical impossibility.
Little anecdotes without any sources, links, or quotes to back them up prove nothing. They are just storytelling.
