Kamala Harris: Climate Change to Blame for Anxiety in Children​

Vice President Kamala Harris was mocked on Twitter after she claimed anxiety in young children was due to climate change, describing it as “climate mental health” problems.


Perhaps if Democrats and the media were not so hellbent on subjecting children to an onslaught of global warming ‘doom,’ there wouldn’t the so-called problem of climate change related anxiety

During an appearance at the “Aspen Ideas: Climate Conference” in Miami Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, Harris told the crowd that climate change is now affecting children’s mental health.

Harris said young climate activists told her they were struggling with “climate mental health.”

“One of the young leaders was talking to me about climate mental health. I said, ‘Tell me what’s going on with your peers,'” Harris said.

Why does being concerned about climate change make someone a "nut" when it is a very real and documented issue?
What is wrong with wanting to solve problems affecting this country, and our species as a whole?
I don't get why this makes her a "nut."

And as far as presidential material, I'm not saying Harris doesn't have some weaknesses, but as far as solving problems affecting the country, at least she isn't trying to either pretend they don't exist- or actively make these problems worse!! (Which is precisely what the previous presidential administration did. Maybe he was the real nut.)

If you are concerned about her weaknesses in addressing the problems with the unchecked migration across the U.S's southern border, then at least that is a legitimate complaint, though to be honest that issue doens't really pique my interest as much.
