There is no advantage to be a bitch. It's a brittle defense and it never keeps out the things it was built to repel.

Is there a need to hurt another's feelings? There are people who feel better when they think they have hurt another person, but that is a peculiar sickness. The short lived bit of superiority they feel when they see a well placed insult has drawn blood is just a topical anesthetic for their own wounds. It doesn't last long and they must get another dose before the pain returns. It's a sad and quite lonely life.

It's okay. I've hurt lots of people. Other people have probably hurt me more.

It's just what we, as humans, do to each other.

And I might have said that you won't be remembered, but what difference does that make? Would you like to be? Do you think that whatever the case, you will be cognisant of the result?

When one dies, the brain is deprived of oxygen. All of your emotions and thoughts, all your memory of everything that's ever happened to you, is stored in those living cells. When they die, it is all gone. Your whole life is reduced to a handful of dead brain cells which no longer function.

So... no reason to be timid. If you don't say it now, you might never get another chance to say it.
