So, I was in medical terminology today-and we were learning about reproduction stuff(yeah, yeah I know very technical terminology there). Anyway, the prime reproductive time for women is between the ages of 20-30. However, the sexual peak of women is between the ages of 30-35. Now, does this seem a little skewed to anyone else?

No more skewed than the fact that a male hits his peak at 18. Life can be so unfair!!!!

WOW, if my sexual peak isn't supposed to hit for a few more years, my fiancee's gonna have a damn hard job of keepin up with me!! :) Hah, and I thought I was bad now...

It's different for men though. They don't have a prime reproductive time. Their little sperm guys are produced throughout their life. Women however, are born with only a given # of eggs and as we age these eggs deteriorate. That's one of the reasons pregnancy is considered high risk for older women.

The fucked up part is that the sexual and reproductive peaks don't match up. Why the hell is that?!!?
C'mon smart people, speak up.

I am not smart, but I will give my opinion.
Maybe the reason of the female sexual peak being so late,is a last chance so to speak.Running out of eggs this triggers it I think.

I think MackDaddy is pretty close to a reason.

Another reason, is that it's nature's way of rewarding women for surviving their prime reproductive years.
