The Straight Girl's Guide to Sleeping with Chicks

OK... So I'm bisexual and, as such, get a bad enough rap from both sides about not being able to make my mind up, but how much worse is this...

"A humorous guide to gay experimentation for straight women offers a wealth of advice on how to spice up a relationship with a boyfriend"

I mean - for many people a sexual relationship with another woman is meaningful and important and something like this just makes it all seem like cheap titillation fofr the benfit of one's boyfriend. Not to mention all those gay/bi women getting their hearts broken by a straight girl 'experimenting.'

Maybe I'm overreacting, but it's something that has always irritated me and I wanted to know whether anyone agreed with me?

Have you read the book? I haven't, but I did read a review of it on Susie Bright's blog ... and she quite liked it.

Yeah, the title perpetuates the stereotypes that plague bisexual chicks, but the review seemed to indicate that the content was not as predictable.

Well... maybe I did judge the book by it's cover, rather...

:)

There was another book recently -- on weight loss -- that had a title I found awful. I've heard people rave about it, though. *shrug* To each ...
