I cleaned.. I mean.. really cleaned my WHOLE house today... both floors.. all 4 bedrooms. It's a medium/large house with lots of small rooms. I did windows.. washed all bedding..vaccumed the walls, floors and turned the mattresses. I shook rugs.. If it was dirty.. i cleaned it.

So, you ask what is so sad about that?

1. 8 kids this weekend.. it will all have to be done again on Monday.

2. I got blisters on my hands!

When I showed my husband the blisters on my hands, you know what he said? "That's what ya get for posting at Lit all day. *obnoxious grin* Maybe if you did all that everyday, your hands would toughen up and you wouldn't get blisters". (he was joking)

Anyway.. you know you have spent way to much time online when you get blisters from vaccuming..

ok, we have discussed the maid idea.

I have decided that having a maid would not help. I don't want a stranger seeing how dirty my house can get...I'd clean anyway.. then have to pay someone to come re-clean the house. Makes no sense does it?

I don't do this deep cleaning very often. I vaccum the "main" living area daily.. i do dishes 3 or more times a day.. i clean the bathroom usually twice a day (most times only once). The upstairs.. well.. ever heard the saying.. "out of sight, out of mind"? hehehe.. that's my upstairs. It gets done usually once a month. But I had put it off since before Xmas. It was BAD! Even I hated going up there.. can't imagine what the kids thought. LOL

As far as my hubby.. he doesn't care for a "dirty" house (then again.. me either. Dirt and I do not get along). But neither of us mind a "lived" in house. There is a difference between the two.

So.. i've decided.. no more vaccuming.. I have teen age kids that can do it when they visit LOL
