Women that like Country music.I will NEVER
date a women that likes that.I wouldn't care

Take #4 for example, If the woman likes Country music, and stands up for herself, then what? You can't tell people what they can and can't do, like or want, in life.

#'s 1 & 3, as said already, are good points. But unless you're willing to give a little bit on #1, then #4 doesn't mean a damned thing.

And not appreciating country music isn't a crime. Judging a person's total worth by something as insignificant as a choice of music isn't a crime, either. But it's definitely in my list of total turn-offs.

Men who never call. Especially when they've gone through the trouble of nagging you to get your number.

Men who are stuck on themselves. There is a difference between being stuck up and being self-confident.

Men who don't take personal hygiene serious. EEEWWW.

Men who try to hard to get into my pants or who only want to have sex. What, you don't think you have anything to offer me besides sex? That gets boring after awhile.

Men who are insecure enough about themselves to display a jealous streak.

Men who feel it helps their 'manhood' to belittle other people, regardless of the circumstances.

Get real, honey. Some women (and men) have a vast area of musical interest. I like country music. I also like rock, metal, classical, jazz and blues. I can pop in a cd and listen to Lonestar and then turn around and shove in The Doors. You pass up a woman just because she likes country and you may be missing a good one. Not everyone who likes Country is a hick. Keep up some of these attitudes and you won't have to worry about a "hick lover", or any lover for that matter.

As far as your other points, I agree that anyone who tries to buy affecton of another person needs serious help. That is a valid point, as well as someone who doesn't stand up for themselves. Not very good to have a human doormat, which I admit I once was. I've developed a backbone now, and am much stronger because of it.

As far as someone who wants everything to go their way...well, we all want everything to go our way once in a while, but each relationship needs compromise. Mature relationships usually have that, to some extent. Please note that I say mature relationships, not to be confused with relationships between people who are over 18. Some people can be 45 or more and never be mature.

The only things that really keep me from wanting a relatinship with anyone are:

!) Refusal to accept me as an intelligent woman.
2) Lack of respect for me and my children.
3) Bad hygeine.
4) Unwillingness to cooperate.

Anything else I can pretty much overlook or deal with.

A big turn off for me is drug use. I've had a few friends who have taken turns for the worse due to their habits. I could never be with someone who used drugs. I don't like men who brag or lie to make themselves look better, nor do I like the ones who need the big toys/trucks/stereos/etc to make themselves feel good. Waste of time in my book!

Anytime I have seen the happen it turns out the he/she
was only with them because of the stuff they gave them.
I don't want to ever be like that..I don't want to ever get to the
point to where I am with someone for money/clothes or

Everyone has different interests. That what makes life exciting. And just because someone likes something you don't doesn't mean it's going to be forcced upon you. Personally, I don't really like sports. That doesn't mean I'm going to rule out someone as a potential mate just because they are an avid armchair quarterback or an avid auto racing fan. Variety is the spice of life.

You could be missing out on your soulmate or a lovely person just based on this. I don't like certain types of music, my hubby does. I respect his right to enjoy what he likes to listen to. There is such a thing as headphones! That's what I do if he is around and I want to listen to Elvis!

You're stereotyping, and I feel sorry for you. See, you never know what kind of person you are talking to. Just because someone says "tater", doesn't necessarily mean that they like country music. For all you know, they may love classical and traditional jazz, but talk like your idea of a "country lover". So don't close your eyes to someone just because of the music they listen to.

I never thought I'd be interested in someone who listens to The Ramones and/or heavy metal and/or acid rock, and has long hair. But hey, it happened. Sometimes it's good to shake up your preconceptions and just let things happen. You just might find someone wonderful.

I'm not even going to waste anymore time with you on this. You obviously need to take a look at your list of turn offs, honey, because right now, seems to me you want everything to go your way. Face reality and learn. Compromise and understanding are the 2 main points in any relationship. Obviously you are lacking in both. Disqualifying a person as a potential mate due to an interest she has is totally assenine. You are gonna die a very lonely and unhappy person. I pity you. You eliminate wonderful women who like a certain kind of music just becasue you assume they are going to be "hicks".

Well, here's a clue. I enjoy country music. I refuse to say "tater" and if I call my evening meal "supper" that's my choice. I consider any evening meal I cook to be "supper". "Dinner" is an evening meal which I partake in a restaurant or any other place besides my own home. I also have a 140 IQ and am a very bright and creative woman. If you came across me in a club, you propably would enjoy my company, as I have a vast variety of interests. I, unfortunately, would pass you over for your closed mind.

About the only possitive quality I can see right now is your dislike of auto racing.

If a women isan't interested in the things I like we
shouldn't even bother either.She looks for what she
