WPMO is whatever the thing was that was making so much noise this morning from the rain storm that woke me up at 6 am. I'm glad I got back to sleep, but it ruined this amazing dream I was having.... and that really ticks me off.

I'm already starting to get pissed off about tonight. I think I'm gonna try moving him out into the hall. Hopefully he won't start yelping like if someone was cutting his leg off.

This made me laugh - do hope you don't mind. My Brittany use to stand over me in the bed to get me up when she was ready.....oh the joys of being owned by a dog!

But a side note - could he by chance be having a bladder problem and have to go out?

that sounds like a good guess, wag. it certainly couldn't hurt... maybe take him for a walk or two during the day or play with him for a few minutes.

this behavior would mystify me too... i hope you get it resolved. dogs can be so hard to read because they hide so much of their physical and emotional discomfort. so when something like this DOES manifest itself it really makes you wonder.

Is there a dog park or something like that in the area? I dont know what the leash laws are where you live or if you have a yard or anything, but the dog park thing really helped my nephew's dog calm down a lot and listen better. The dog gets to run around and play with other dogs in a pretty good sized lot of land. They go about once a week, sometimes a little less depending on how things are going in the rest of their lives, and let the dog run around for about an hour or two. The dog is happy then, and so is my sister because the dog isnt into everything because of it.
 
so i was out of the office yesterday. i caught a cold, i don't know from whom but it's annoying. i don't mind being generally cranky and sullen that much: i usually try to keep to myself on such days so i don't inflict my mood on others.

but what i really hate is the weird taste you get and the hollow feeling in your sinus cavity, once the congestion's gone. it makes me feel light-headed.

i require mass quantities of chicken noodle soup. happily, a place around the corner does a nice one.

Ed, I totally feel your pain. I have chronic sinus problems they are not fun.
