One thing that bothered me in high school was when girls would wear summer clothes (tank tops, shorts, sandals) in winter and complain about it being cold.

People who bring cellphones to classes and forget to turn them off.

People at credit card companies who call at annoying times (not during dinner, but rather early on a Saturday morning, or late at night).

Fat people who file lawsuits against fast-food restaurants for being unhealthy.

People in general who always try to find someone else to blame for their own problems.

Political correctness.

People who say they'll call me later, and then don't.

when people can't shutup up about how bad they think THEIR day was for just one minute - when if they paid attention they woud see you are dire need of a friend at the moment, and are not in the mood to listen to what they THINK was a big deal today.

teachers who pretend they do their job REALLY well, and work SO hard - when their husband and child are sitting in their office on the computer instead of working - and they are spending the whole class period bitching instead of teaching.

when you have a great day at disneyland w/ a guy - who's thinking of breaking up w/ his gf - and then you see them back together and completely kissy/smoochy again.

Three words, The National Enquirer. That magazine pisses me off so much, especially checking in 100 copies of it and knowing that enough people will buy them that the company makes a profit on it.

The way that management thinks everything is a priority yet never sends help... must not be much of a priority then is it?

The way some people hate their job yet seem so set in their ways they can't find something better.

People who bitch about not seeing their boyfriend/girlfriend for a few days (after not seeing my darling for a month it's quite irritating)

I'm going to have to play devil's advocate here...let me first say that I have not yet been able to afford a car that's new enough to have an airbag. My husband's car does, but since it's got standard shift I only drive it once every other blue moon. My kids have ridden shotgun most of the time, especially my daughter. In fact, she once told me that one of her most positive memories of childhood was the long conversations we'd have while we were on the road. When I and my sisters were coming up, if we all had to sit in the back seat, we'd have felt like we were being punished, especially if there was only one of us in the car at the time.

Let me say now, that what pisses me off is automobile designers who have not ever been able to design the back seat so that (1) You get a decent view (2) There's room for your legs and (3) that you can have the windows open without the wind tying your hair into elf-bolts.

If we're all going to have to put our kids in the back set, the car designers ought to do somethng to fix that.

Ooh, I thought of something else. One of my biggest pet peeves is when people leave Christmas decorations up until March or even later. I drove past this one house that still has about half a dozen 2-foot-tall plastic figures (Santa, snowmen, candy canes...). Now it's one thing when people leave lights up until weather permits them being taken down, but large lawn ornaments should go inside sometime in January. Also, I read that anti-porn guy's website, that guy has issues...

Yeah, I know, we've all heard stories of a friend's friend who almost burned to death or died because of a seatbelt, but one of my realtives is a paramedic, and as she says, "We've never treated a car accident victim who would have been better off NOT wearing their seatbelt. If they received serious injuries while wearing a seatbelt, then they'd be dead if they hadn't been."

I agree that in general, it is much safer to wear a seatbelt, and I do use them now, have since my first child was born.
BUT. I was in a crash many years ago that if we had been wearing seatbelts, both my wife and I would be dead. No doubt about it. Adults should have the freedom of choice, IMHO.

What pisses me off:
People who create traffic jams by being "nice and holding up a mile of traffic to let someone pull out across traffic in front of them.

People who merge at yeild signs. (yes dilbert, there's a difference)
