The worst challenge!

Let's bring some lightheartedness back to the AH to finish the weekend.

New challenges:

"Hanna-Barbera" - Stories in the style of, or inspired by, The Flintstones, Top Cat, Scooby-Doo and Whacky Races.

"Bowdlerised" - Stories that have been conspicuously "cleaned up" to remove all swear words, mature content and sex scenes.

"The BBC SF&F challenge" - BBC as in the broadcasting company. The challenge is to write a SF&F story in no more than six chapters. You can add a follow-up series, but you have to wait at least three years.
All characters must look dramatically thinner and younger in the second series, as they have gone to Hollywood in the interim and gotten some work done.

The Hanna-Barbarian Challenge: Convert one of the iconic cartoon properties into a grim, Conan-style fantasy piece. Alternatively, take characters from Conan or similar properties and give them a Saturday morning cartoon adventure*.

*I have dim memories of a cartoon that I think was called Conan the Adventurer that was, essentially, a bowdlerized version.

And maybe the Hitchcock challenge:

  • Dial E for Enema
  • [Big] Black Male
  • The Man Who Blew Too Much
  • The 69 Steps
  • Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and Friend
  • Rope (again no change)
  • Under Capri Porn

The worst challenge, especially if you hate typing: write an erotic novel in the style of Remembrance of Things Past.

And also the length of Remembrance.

The Roll-Playing Game challenge: not roles, but rolls. Your characters have to make Constitution checks, Charisma checks, maybe even Rope Use checks.

The Rolle-Playing Role-Playing challenge: Pick a famous Rolle and write about someone pretending to be them in order to get laid.
