The worst challenge!

A Lord of the Rings fanfic called "Shagrat by Name, Shagrat by Nature" would probably violate Lit's bestiality rule though.

Orcs are fictional creatures, not beasts. You should be good to go. I wrote an LOTR fanfic story with hobbits, elves, and orcs and it passed the gauntlet.

I believe he meant that the orc would be shagging actual rats.
Yep. It's been in my head since I was listening to the Cirith Ungol chapters.

I could get away with it if it's wererats, I suppose. If I remember rightly werewolves are canonical for The Silmarillion.

I think you're right... or there was at least one of them, anyway. I can't recall if it was supposed to be a unique condition, though.
I also think I remember the larger orcs in Mordor referring to the smaller ones as rats, though. If you've got a copy of book five handy, consider looking up the part just after Sam and Frodo escape the tower and are being pursued by the pair of hunters. I think the big one calls the little one who's trying to sniff out their trail a rat. They don't have many nice things to say about each other in general, though. Maybe 'rats' can be construed as an orcish term for camp followers?

A forum challenge:

Don't post links to your stories (especially when you have them in your sig) or respond to every question by saying "In my story blah blah blah."

I doubt many here could last that long.

Yes, I listened to that chapter just yesterday. But there are a lot of references to "stinking Morgul rats" throughout.

@StillStunned,
I think a Fan-Fic would fly as a positively awful concept but at the same time I wouldn't restrict it to a particular genre/subject or time/place... (except of course as I mentioned the"Hellraiser" franchise...!🤢)
Respectfully,
D.
