She might have to explain in the submission notes that it is Chapter 05 of this growing masterpiece even though it has nothing to do with Chapters 01 to 04 and 05 onwards.

I've been wondering that myself. I wondered if the fact that it was so different might cause problems with the submission.

My chapter has a 4.67 rating, but it only has 3 (? can't remember, but it's less than 10) votes, so no H for me, LOL. My newest story on the other hand has gotten about 125 votes in about 3 days time. I am completely floored. The most votes any non-contest story that I have written has gotten prior is 42. The amount of votes on The Maid is just staggering to my mind. I don't know if it's because of the category it is in or what.

I think the title attracts; then the idea of a French Maid's uniform.

No real French Maid would be seen dead in a man's idea of the uniform she is supposed to wear. A Maid's uniform is her working dress and is practical and unromantic. Most employers expect their maids to work hard for long hours so the uniform gets sweaty and dirty.

Do men get excited about women in smelly burger bar uniforms?

Don't answer that. I know some men get excited by anything.

I think that CrimsonMaiden's story works and is popular because it appeals to the fantasy of a 'French Maid'. It helps that it is well written about people who have depth.
