I find I have nothing to contribute to the existing threads. So, after 2 seconds or so of intensely lethargic consideration, I decided to make this thread. We can make it into something yet to be considered, or let it die and sink into the GB abyss of nothingness. Come on in and make yourself at home.

Kicks off my shoes; plants my feet on the coffee table dislodging your cat.

Didn't you make a thread similar to this a week or two ago?

It's not a bad idea or nothin', just triggering the memory cells. ;)

I'm watching a thing on PBS about owls.

Oddly interesting creatures...

"Wall of Fame (or Shame)" stories work.

Or we can talk about the weather. :)

Baby, I couldn't say, I'm adjusting to new work hours, so I might be a little behind on things LIT.

I'll have to figure how to tell the Wall of Fame/Shame stories without getting into trouble.

;)

The weather has been a cross between Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and Homer's Odyssey.

This thread is similar to an idea I have been mulling around. I was wondering aloud today if some people that type a lot are shy in person, and some that are sparse are loquacious in speech.

I haven't worked out how it would work, but I considered a thread where all replies have to be n the form of a vocaroo clip. just a conversation. Then further musing, I thought maybe someone could splice it into an audio tract of an ongoing conversation.

A couple of weeks ago, while driving home from work, I would come upon a barn owl on his nightly hunt. On the last night i saw him (or her), I damn near wrecked the car when it flew vertically from the ground to the top of a telephone pole. I thought I had surely been mistaken, but according to this show, that do have that ability. I suppose I can cancel the appointment with the eye doctor now.

And while Query fleshes out his concept I'll continue to sip my "Garnate's Reserve" whilst listening to "Switched on Bach" and wishing I could post it to a thread to get Byron wound up.

Fvcking playground...

There is no GB anymore...so of course...you have to start a thread...or threadjack somewhere...to have anything interesting to read...

For actual conversation...I find talking to myself more fulfilling...

I watched that one two days ago. Amazing birds.

How are the arguments going?

I was going to ask, is he not a fan of CW McCall? Then I realized I was thinking that Switched on Bach was that thing by Mannheim Steamroller, but I can't find that reference.

How the heck does spellcheck know "Mannheim??" and not all the other words I want to type?

You think so, huh?

The other is an interesting thought, until it get's crazy trying to keep up with 2 dozen conversations that only obliquely resemble one another.

The computer hates you.

Better than the quarrels initiated by the argumentative types hereabouts...

It is nice....to engage with someone that can actually form a cogent argument...from time to time.

I read in one of the threads something that lead me to think someone might be hoarding up all the ellipses. When I reached down into my bag 0 words and punctuation, I found even my stash seemed meager. Is that your fault, young man?

It might...well be.
