The Walking Dead

Beth was nothing in the first three seasons. I think they built her up to pull her down. The writers knew it would be great Daryl fodder too.

Oh and it was Maggie screaming that made me tear up. Daryl's bulging arm muscles on the roof had me moist in other areas.

Exactly! I choked up as well. But Beth's death has major ramifications for next season. How will Maggie react, how will Daryl react? Her death affects everyone

She'll meltdown and he'll go catatonic.

Just read Emily Kinney is 29! Thought she was about 18!

damn....and her IMDB shows nothing for her beyond Walking Dead....she better go on some casting calls....

I'm not saying they had to many black people on the show. . . I'm just saying Noah should have died first.

Maybe she'll come back. :D

Good call. Though she probably should have been missing more of her skull.

Noah is an inoffensive character, but he's now been indirectly involved in the last two deaths.

I wonder if there's a point at which this show can start getting too depressing for the audience.

This episode made me sad....Tyreese had really grown on me as a strong character, a source of strength, one who would fight only when needed.

Also, I wanted to see some Daryl.

Me too. Just a flash of shoulders near the end. Gutted.

Has anyone else noticed that two of the more morally based characters have died in the last two episodes? I think this portends to a potentially brutal season.

Before that Bob died -- he was the closest thing to an optimist in the group. And the last episode certainly didn't argue that Tyreese's "visitors" were wrong in telling him that you can't maintain any sense of your humanity and expect to survive for long. It's all very bleak.

How much time was supposed to have passed between December's finale and this episode? We've gotten used to seeing them cover maybe a couple of miles at a time before running into literal roadblocks, but yesterday they finally left Georgia for the first time in the run of the series, and then got through both Carolinas before it was 9:05. Hell, Charlotte traffic is bad enough when there isn't a zombie apocalypse.

I expect fancy words from a classy lady like her. I was just wondering where you learned about such words.
Hey now. I'm edumacated like the rest of you.

They made it to Virginia and Rick's daughter looked a lot older than at the end of last season.
