The video game thread

Storm, to pick up a hooker you just have to pull up next to one in your car. I've had trouble picking one up in a convertable, but other cars tend to work. Plus if you shoot them after they get out of your car, you can get your money back :D

And to get rid of the cops and more ammo, cheat codes hon, cheat codes. ;)

Tonight I am SO getting my Xbox back from my brother. I'm tired of saying "I'm bore, I wish i could play a game". So since I have no plans tonight I'm taking it back.

Thanks, you're pezzeriffic.

I'll have to go get some action. And think of you.

Post the codes here when you find them. ;)

bah you don't need cheat codes :)

playing call of duty here its really amazing ... the stalingrad level is scary at how well it seems to recreate that war feeling

Thats what I tell my PA members...they all say I'm gay cuz I have a female character. I tell them you spend 90% of the game staring at your characters ass so it might as well be a women :)

Old roommate's girlfriend was watching us play diablo2 one time, she thought it was funny we were both playing female characters. I said, since I'm staring at a pixellated butt for hours, I'd rather look at amazon hiney than barbarian butt.

Level 12 EA sports gamer here :) Anyone else here that uses the EA Sports bio?

Last week I was able to pick up Smackdown HCTP.. Pretty good game although the season mode is a bit of a let down since it only goes through one full year and then you have to restart again.

I am proud to say though that I'm 3 and 0 versus my girlfriend it bra and panties matches :D

Hey everybody. :D

Storm-your best bet is to go find the weapons yourself or look for hidden packages. If you really need to, you can buy ammo, but it's better to find it. The best place to find the cheat codes would be gamefaqs.com. If they're out there, that's where they'll be. How does the Xbox version look? I was considering picking it up sooner or later even though I've beat them both already on the PS2.

I've been playing a lot of different games lately. Rainbow Six 3 is pretty cool....but very hard. Tony Hawk's Underground fucking rules. I don't like the parts where you get off the board though, it's just a bit too awkward for my tastes. Crimson Skies is a very fun game, I definitely suggest trying it out. I'm waiting for the Prince of Persia and the Return of the King now, as well as a few others.

Sorry, I haven't posted in a while and had a lot of things to talk about....probably have more around here somewhere...

Hi Spaceboy!

Hidden packages - I've found a couple, but do they contain anything? I hadn't noticed.

And I need shotgun shells and can't find squat. I'm into exploring right now, looking for those stars to reduce my wanted level.

The graphics. Well, they're a big step up from the ps2 but still aren't great. OK, thay're not bad, but could have been better. But I thought the ps2 graphics for it were horrible.

if you finish the ambulance missions you get a health bonus too i think ... it might be same for the taxi missions as well where you get something else

i think with the hidden packages when you collect so many you start getting bonus stuff at your home in the game

i never really did all that stuff though when i finished it

its the first game ... not vice city ? ... i never finished vice city

um tips i would say is always get the fast car from the car auto shop its kinda near your home ... and remember you don't have to do all the missions theres missions that are the story and you only have to finish those ones to finish the game

also drive around a bit get used to driving fast and knowing the layout of the city

Yes, I haven't put in vice city yet.

I think getting the layout of the city is what I need to do right now. I find myself not finding what I want to find or not remembering how to get there, and frequently driving while looking at the little map. Then I crash. Not good. That will come with time. I'm getting good with the southern half of it, oddly enough.

The fast car - I can find a good one at the car dealership behind the glass window, I assume that's the one you're talking about. I can only fit one car in that tiny garage at home though. Not that there's many I'd want at this point.

yeah thats the one i meant ... its good to know its there because its always easy to get ... it is important just to get used to being able to play the game before trying some of the harder missions so just play around with it at the start

I have a message from Spaceboy for you, he says to turn the trails off. It's in the options under display. It will help your graphics be a bit better.

With every ten hidden packages you get, you will get a weapon and you can keep picking it up over and over to get all the ammo you want.

Oh, and once you get to go to the other islands is when you get bigger garages. The last garage you get holds six cars.

Big multiplayer FPS fan here, with an emphasis on Historical combat (WWII, Vietnam) games.

Pretty much any multiplayer FPS will do me, but I really dig the Day of Defeats and BF1942 games. The more grit and harder the game the better. I'm really getting into Red Orchestra for UT2k3. Really hard game, no cross hairs! If you paid for UT2k3, downloading this mod just might make it worth that money you no doubt feel went to waste.

Yes I've been looking forward to that. Probably going to grab it shortly, but right now I'm finding myself really enjoying the new .50 Cal Sniper rifle in Desert Combat.

Welcome to Lit Martin, I hope you enjoy your stay.

and this thread.

I agree that Medal of Honor is a very good game.:D

Okay...I'll say whatever I can that I didn't have Pez tell you earlier. The hidden packages will deliver a different weapon to your hideout with every ten you collect-very worthwhile.
You can find shotgun shells in cop cars. Steal one and when you get out it gives you something like 10-15 shells. Risky but worth it. The mafia cars are some of the best to start off with. Good handling and such. If you need to get the city layout down, try stealing a taxi and doing some of the missions, it really helps you find your way around after a few botched tries.
Actually, start trying to collect the packages now, as by the time you're at a point in the game where you want to start really looking the gangs will all hate you and that will make it much more difficult.

And just in case you wondered, you can get health by stealing an ambulance also. I know you get something for stealing the paddywagons and the firetruck, but I forget what. I'd have just given you the codes here but I don't know if they're different for the Xbox version.

ALSO....god I'm becoming LordDavid....I just rented the Return of the King game and it's pretty cool, though a straight-up hack and slasher just like the Two Towers game. Fun, but gets a little old a little too fast. I do have a friend coming over to try out the 2 player mode, however.

Thanks!

I tried the fire truck - got through like 50 missions and earned 400K. And I know my way around better.

On to some secret packages.

All these games with death and mayhem.. sheesh! ;)

Level 13 EA sports gamer now.. :D

Ok so Fly has it.. what is it like? Is it better than FFX?

Reviews boy.. if you're gonna brag, at least give a review!

Currently hooked on Call of Duty. Amazing gameplay, fantastic multiplayer.

And of course my fall back online game. WWIIOnline. Been with this since it was in Beta as a beta tester and still play.
