Ya, I'd rather not spend money on beta's. I've beta tested 5 other games so far, and 2 currently, and never had to pay a cent and I would like to keep it that way. :)

*giggles*

Romial ~ Yes it is on the X-Box ... I would not buy it other wise ... My friend who also wanted play it has only the PS2 & X-Box ... I am the one with all the systems ...

If its a game I want & I know its coming out on the X-Box ... I wait for the X-Box version ... My GC only has stuff that are only on that system ...

Oooooh...interesting. I'm a huge Godzilla fan, always have been, guess I'll have to go to BBV and pick it up soon. :)

Man...all you PC gamers just make me jealous.:p Personally, I'm waiting for Enter the Matrix in less than two weeks, Knights of the Old Republic in..whenever, and Soul Calibur 2...whenever.

Oh, I rented Wolverine's revenge....it's okay, but nothing really to talk about so far.

I picked my baseball game finally today.. MVP 2003 from EA Sports.

Haven't got a chance to play much of yet because of company, but I was able to get into a quick game and have my ass taken yard by the Twins lead off guy.

I gotta say so far after doing five pitches in the game I'm impressed with what I see :)

EA do the best sport simulations..........certainly of the ones I've seen......

Sega kicked ass on NFL and NHL 2K3 though.. While EA did a horrid job on NHL 2003.

Anyone play arcade games? I'm totally addicted to the Initial D racing game recently....it's excellent!

There is an Initial D arcade game??!

I know there are 2 games for the Playstation ... But I didn't know there was one for the Arcade ...

Now if they would just make an NLL (National Lacrosse League) sim, then life would be great. But alas. No plans as of yet that I've heard.

Anyone know what the best rally racing game is? I've been thinking of picking one up, but most of the places around here don't have many to rent.

The arcade game is fab....it has a card reader built into it, so when you start a game you can pay an extra credit for a card, and you can save a car on it and start building it up.

Initial D 2 is out in a few months too!

Yep ... they are for Japan Playstations ... on is like the Anime where you are racing down the mountain ...The other is a typing game ...

Bah, typing games silly...

Arcade game has two modes, one is the Legend of the Streets when you have to go up against various racers from the manga, and one is the time trial mode. You collect points everytime you win a race or beat a record on time trial, and you can build up your car with them.

Got all the tracks from the manga too!

Silly penguin...

Say what you will, but 'Typing of the Dead' (DC) is so camp it's awesome!

Been playing through Shenmue lately. First disc was scratched up pretty good (previously owned), but made it through to the second disc, which I just finished tonight. I already wanna import/buy Shenmue 2 (DC) - it's so good. Dunno why some people don't like it. Not quite everyone's pace, I guess.

Probably gonna have to get a GC soon. If Mario Kart is as fun as the SNES was with the GC graphics, I'm sold.

Gran Tureismo 3 actuially has a really great rally driving section. It's smaller than the street racing obvously, but it's pretty realistic, and quite fun.

The new Colin McCray(sp?) game should be out soon, and that was excellent on the old PLaystation....not sure how good the new version will be though.

Mario Kart on the SNES was da shit. I used to play that all day and all night.

MVP Baseball is a damn fun game..

I don't know if I like the home run challenge.. It's not really based so much on home runs as it is just knocking the crap out of the ball as far and as many times as you can.

The franchise feature is a pleasent surprise though.. The idea of taking a team and trying to hit certain goals is an interesting one. Right now I am in this huge conflict as to who I should take as a team and use first.

Take one of my two favorite teams.. The Jays or Astros. Take the Devil Rays or Tigers and build a winner out of a brutal loser. Take the M's or Giants and see if I can put them over the hump. Or even take the Yanks and see if I can win the four championships that is required..

Game play is pretty damn good as well. The pitching interface is cool.. Batting is a little too easy though in some ways.

I'm glad that your game is working for you LT.:D I've been playing a lot of Halo lately, now that I finally picked up another controller.

Oh, and let's not forget about Enter the Matrix, which comes out next Thursday, along with the movie. I can't wait to see if that game is everything they say it is.

Get the new Matrix Reloaded soundtrack SB.. It has a good five or six minute QT feature on the making of "Enter The Matrix" .. It looks and sounds epic!!
