Well, I don't own an XBox, so that's out of the question. If I did, I'd get it. So far as I'm concerned, with it's release there are finally three games worthy of purchase exclusive to the XBox:

DOA:XBV
Shenmue II*
Halo

*(I know Shenmue II was originally released for the Dreamcast outside the US, but never here, regardless of the ease in importing for the DC. If it still bugs you, simply replace it with TJ&E3.)

Meanwhile, I'm up to three foot difficulties in DDR. With any luck, I'll be able to conquer four and five foot difficulties soon. Whoop-de-freakin-do!

Is Medal of Honor: Underground any good? I've wanted to play it for a while, but wasen't able to until recently. It looks good enough. So should I go rent it or find something else on the shelves to pick up instead?

Just got back from the mall where I picked up DOA: EBV.
Played it on the demo machine at the store for a couple minutes. The graphics are very nice, the soundtrack rocks and the girls, well the girls are, WOW!

I haven't had a chance to play it at home yet, but I will tonight.

Today I just picked up Amped and Mechassult .. I actually got a great deal since I got them at a pawn shop but Mechassult was still new in it's wrapper.. I basically paid 40 bucks for each game.. If ya wanna break it down ever farther, I paid something like 15 bucks American for a new game.

Haven't played it though.. maybe later tonight.

Haven't played Shenmue in a while myself.. then again I haven't bought it yet.. just rented it a few times.

I've been too busy trying to win a damn Superbowl with the Titans.. in my 6th season.. and this may just be the year I do it! I am 7-0 so far... I've never been any better than 4-0

My friend and I had a hilarious Hell In The Cell match on Smackdown 4 a few weeks ago.. We didn't realize that you could just fall off the top of the cell and then lay there for a few moments.. It was 20 minutes of sheer mayhem.

The same pawn shop I went to had a PS2 system for 195.. I was VERY tempted to buy it and run and grab SD4.. I still just may!

BTW, isn't it funny how I see PS2's at the pawn shop, but never Xboxes?

Speaking of the Undertaker.. there was a bit during the career mode where my CAW was dealing with him.. The first week he 'bugged' Taker, Taker laid him out with a right hand. The next week Taker asked if I "liked my teeth" and that if I kept getting in his face, he'd use my teeth for a necklace.

Since I was having issues with Brock Lesnar already, I decided I'd just back away from Taker.. for now.

I hope RAW 2: Ruthless Agression is just as deep story line wise.

This is a cutscene FAQ for the game... based on all the different cutscene's there are.. I'd say the career mode is pretty deep.

Allright then.. WoM... Based on the 30 hours or so my friend and I have played it, the story line is pretty deep! lol

Right off the bat you can go in a few different directions.. You do the draft of Raw and Smackdown rosters (which is fun.. I had Jericho, Lesnar, Kane, The Dudleys, Benoit, Rikishi and a few others picked for the RAW side) then your CAW does a few weeks of work on Heat.. then after about a month yo go onto start doing RAW.. I got into a feud with Lesnar right off the bat after I pinned him in a tag match.. (One of the cutscenes is my caw enjoying the win while Lesnar is in the ring and looks stunned as hell he was beaten... classic!)

Of course beating Lesnar upped my 'star points' big time.. I was instantly in main events with him and Jericho and Kane.. And of course high star points means you can ask for title shots.. which put you into more feuds.. I challenged Rikishi for the Euro title and we had a brief three week feud until he whipped my ass at a PPV... from there he helped me in the feud against Lesnar.

A little later on Vince and Flair start fighting, Vince tries to bring my guy over to Smackdown, but I chose to refuse and fight for the RAW side..

And it goes on from there..

The controls are the same as the other Smackdown games... but they have tweeked it in a way so that certain combos will do moves with weapons - ie: RVD's Vandaminator, or just a straigth DDT on top of a chair.

Collision detection is a little better and the fighting is a little more wrestling like.. As I said, your wrestler doesn't bounce right up after falling off a cage or cell..

The wrestlers still walk as if there is a rod up their ass as Tazz put it last week.. But all in all it a huge improvment over SD3

this has nothing to do with the current conversation goin on this thread but ill throw in my 2 cents about vidoe games, i mostly play fps , first person shooters, prolly cuz im a gun nut , my fav is counter strike and dod i play those two to excess

Hiya max...and Cibo and LT. I don't play pc games, but thoroughly enjoy console fps's.
Oh...and I finally got everything on Ratchet and Clank...finally. Very good game for an action/platformer.

you sound like you a console gamer, not that im dissin you but i think dishing out 500 or more dollars for a pc that only works with games and one u have to replace after a few years is sorta stupid , why not get a nice pc , good video card , u will b able to play all the games , most of em come out for pc anyway and the ones that dont u can still play with a playstation emulator

Okies I an not familar with FPS ... Whats that?

I play console, handheld & PC. I play mostly RPGs, Action/Adv, Shoots that use a gun, puzzle games & alot of the cutie stuff that most guys don't play.

Right now I am working on Ty (X-box); Metal Dungeon (a lil bit); Panzer Dragoon Ortha (I still suck at this one); & Crimson Sea heart: Sho).

I haven't even tried out Ninja Assult & Spryo for PS2 yet.

For the PC ... It's still EQ, Sims On-line & lots of surfing the net.
