The video game thread

Don't forget, folks...

Dead Or Alive: Extreme Beach Volleyball was supposed to be released today. The Blockbuster by me didn't have it, and they receive new rentals on Tuesdays... so it won't be until next week 'til they get it. I also checked GameCrazy (Hollywood Video)... and their new releases come in on Fridays...

Let me know if any of you get the chance to see it in person or play it...

Hey what's the website that has remix's of all those video game songs?

Or any website for that matter, doesn't have to be remix's.

And Johnny...DoA Vollyball comes out the 22nd.

Are you suuuuuuuure? When I asked the guys at GameCrazy, they gave me a book with all the up-coming release dates.... and I could have sworn that it was Jan. 15th... but it is possible I could be wrong.

Dammit... either way - I can't play it yet. *sigh* :(

If you like being surprised, try BigMog Radio. ( http://www.bigmog.com/bigmog_radio.pls ) It cycles through both video game music and anime music, and they meld pretty well together. I listen to it on occassion, although on dial-up I practically can't be doing anyother browsing if I want continuious streaming.

OCRemix is good, although I'm waiting for vgmix to return personally.

Ok ... why won't this work with Windows Media 9???

I just got a new game :D ... Panzer Dragoon Ortha ... I suck playing it on easy mode ... :(

graphics are really sweet!

Is the gameshark for PS2 really as bad as all the reviews make it sound? I've checked the EB reviews and the Futureshop reviews and they both make the GS2 sound like complete crap. Both pages said to get the codebreaker. Has anybody actuially used the Gameshark for PS2 and had any problems with it?

Before ragging on me for cheating in a game and all that nice stuff, I beat a game before I shark it. It's just that I had a gameshark for PSX and it made games a lot of fun the second time around.

So is the Gameshark for PS2 the piece of shit I've heard it to be, and get a codebreaker, or should I go with a gameshark?

Game Sharks have been kinda iffy with the PS2 ...

Sometimes they work & most of the time they don't. It all depends on what version of the PS2 you have.

The newer ones have either hardware or software (I don't remember which it was) intergraded in them that prevents use of the game shark.

I have only use the game shark for Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero. Just to get the infinate money, to buy all the cars I wanted.

I do own a game shark for my dreamcast to play import games. Never use it to imput codes. *shrugs*
